  1. Looking at your DXDiag, your drivers are a tiny bit out-of-date - they have literally released drivers yesterday. Can you go here: http://support.lenovo.com/gb/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/lenovo-z-series-laptops/lenovo-z50-75 And then update to the latest drivers for Windows 10...Then report back. Thank you for your patience.
  2. Can you provide the exact make/model of Lenovo laptop you have please?
  3. We build everything in house, so don't really know who to recommend. I've heard good things about www.overclockers.co.uk as well as www.pcspecialist.co.uk - but haven't used either myself. I know they both use off the shelf parts for their builds, which is the best method, as you can then just swap out whatever bits you want to change.
  4. Hi, Thermal paste does dry up, and that shouldn't cause any real issues - its just something that happens. As long as it was still there, between the heatsink and CPU, it would have been fine doing its job. Whats more likely is probably the heatsink on the CPU isn't doing a good enough job. Both thermal paste solutions you've linked to are good enough for the job, so perhaps thats a good place to start as it doesn't cost a lot of money and you may see that it solves the problem. Please be careful when applying paste though...I've seen many CPUs that just have a ton of paste applied, and too much paste is just as bad as not enough. Here is a really good article on how to apply paste properly: http://www.maximumpc.com/how-to-properly-apply-thermal-paste-and-install-a-cpu/ What type of system do you have...is it a branded system (I see DELL listed in your Piriform screenshot)? When you have a system like that, your options for a replacement cooling system are limited. Try the paste, and if you have no joy, then I can recommend a suitable cooling system.
  5. Can I ask which of the two things you did to fix the issue? Was it unblock, security control or both?
  6. can you try right clicking your save file, and click properties. Then see if there is an 'unblock' button. If so, please click it, then click OK and try loading the save. If not, can you go to the security tab, then click Edit, click on your username in the list, and in the bottom area select 'Full Control', the OK and OK again. Then try loading the save. Please report back. Thanks
  7. Hi, Can you try disabling compatibility mode, and in the same area where you see the compatibility mode settings, select 'Run this program as an administrator' Try that, and please let us know. Thanks

  10. Onto the final thing to try now: Please go to the Steam folder (c:\program files (x86)\steam). You should find in there the Steam application. Right click this file, and go to properties, select Compatibilty, select 'Run this program as an Administrator' Click OK Then go to the 'bin' folder, right click on the 'steamservice' file, go to properties and do the same as above - select 'Run this program as an Administrator' Restart your computer, launch Steam and try and run the game.
  11. On to the last few steps now. Can you check the following to see if you are in a BETA for steam: Go to Steam > Settings in the Steam client. The Beta Participation section say if you are participating in a BETA or not. Click on the Change... button in the client participation section and select one of the choices available in the drop-list of beta programs. If you are currently not part of a BETA, then select the option 'Steam beta update' - if you are part of the BETA, change it to NONE Click OK and restart Steam When you do, it will install a different version of STEAM. Then check to see if the game works.
  12. And about any other games?
  13. Also - can I ask if you have any other games on Steam - do they also have the same problem?
  14. With the Windows firewall still off, can you please restarted your modem/router for your internet connection. Then try it again.
  15. Can you try disabling your firewall? Goto Control Panel > Windows Firewall > On the left hand side, select 'Turn Windows Firewall on or off' Then ensure every setting is 'Turn off Windows Firewall' Click OK, close down steam and then re-open it and try loading FM15 again please.
