  1. Dailon do Rosario and Dailon Livramento in NAC Breda reserve team are duplicates of the same player, one should be removed.

    And the issue with the "determination" attribute being randomized to super low numbers when no data has been put in has to be fixed. Really stunts the development of players. Can't at least guys like Calvin Stengs get a fixed value there so sort it out? So he doesn't get a randomized value like 2, which stunts his development and which is wholly undeserved for a player who's shown great determination in overcoming long term injuries early in his career.

    Edit: Said Assim/Assim Said in NAC U19 duplicated too.

  2. Don't see the issue with there being a lot of youth players, that's just nice? Who cares what the AI does, and when you manage the club you can sort it out yourself with promoting keepers to reserves/first team or loaning some out.

    Do agree that Onana's reflex attribute should be improved though, he's talked about now as a world class keeper and his reflexes are among thee strongest parts of his game, he's shown it in all the Champions League games this fall for example with some of the saves against Chelsea, Valencia and Lille, and last season too, he's bailed out Ajax defenders many many times with really quick reflexes. And like stevenvdijk pointed out, if Zoet, Mous, Velthuizen (!) etc have equal or better value than Onana that's uh, weird. Think he has the best reflexes out of all the keepers in the Eredivisie. Should be 17-18.

    Another small issues, I don't have the game in front of me now but I'm pretty sure Kenneth Taylor had central defender as one of his positions which struck me as odd. Pretty sure he's only played in midfield (and a few games as right winger under Heitinga) for at least the last few years so think he shouldn't be more than 'competent' at central defender.

    It's not ridiculous, please be respectful. His attributes will already be adjusted by the way.

    Japanese players that are at a Dutch club full time under contract appear.
    Japanese playesr that are under contract at a Japanese club (and are loaned out) do not appear.

    Lol I meant that his speed irl is ridiculous, not meant as some weird dig at you.

    Another small attribute thing I noticed now is that Azor Matusiwa's strength and conditioning could be upped a bit, at least his stamina, he's in very good physical condition, has high work rate (which is reflected in the game in that attribute) and works hard for 90 minutes, think his high work rate should be coupled with high stamina and such.

    Noa Lang's finesse (7) def warrants a raise too given how he's a tricky, technically skilled and creative player.

    Thanks for the explanation regarding the japanese players.

    Unfortauntely licensing issues prevent us from having any Japanese based players appear in the entire game :(

    But there are other japanese players in the game? Ko Itakura at Groningen for example. Why is that he can be in the game but not Sugawara at AZ or Nakamura at Twente? Out of curiosity.

    Also yeah yeah attributes are subjective but I think Sergiño Dest's pace (13) and acceleration (15) needs to be higher. He must be on of the fastest players in Eredivisie at least, and beyond really. Both his overall pace and acceleration is ridiculous.

    To move the image up the easiest option is to change the alignment from bottom to top.

    To replace the analyzer with the attributes you should just need to replace the analyzer code with the details code from further down, just be careful of the various containers when moving the stuff.

    Okay, but how? Looking at it the code for analyzer and the personal info at the bottom they look very different, I don't know how to smoothly replace it especially without messing up the containers (gotten some error messages for that already playing around). Like I said, this ain't my thing really. Through trial and error I've now gotten rid of the analyzer (through simply removing it's default_width, alignments and insets values. And I've discovered how to move around the image and the personal info bit through playing with alignments, insets and outsets, but what I'm stuck at now is I can't figure how to get the player's personal info to move up into the empty space. I did away with the "player extra detail" (contract/loan info that's normally at the top of the player info), but I can't get the player's D.O.B. to move up anymore than that, have tried all sorts of insets etc at this point. The D.O.B. container has a vertical inset which I've played around and it moved up the nationality text more, but it made the text all wonky. While the other info below D.O.B. (Nationality, international caps, value etc) are widgets, no container and no vertical insets for those. So I'm just trying to find a way to move up all the player info but coming up empty. I have the image in the centre now but can move it to the left but no more to the right (the space which used to hold the analyzer) for some reason. Thinking if the image is to the left the player's personal info would fit on the right, or vice versa but I just can't get the info up any further.

    You'll need to play around with the container height at the top (and the one further in the file that controls the player data) and the insets on the layout line for the profile pic.

    Thanks! That did it, gotten it to this point now (see attached image) by changing to:

    <!-- Portrait / Analyser-->

    <container height="400">

    <attachment_group class="horizontal_arrange" horizontal_layout="-1,-1" horizontal_offset="0" horizontal_gap="0" vertical_alignment="vertical" vertical_inset="0" />

    <!-- Profile picture -->

    <widget class="picture" id="prop" scale_picture="false" keep_aspect_ratio="true" image_alignment="centre_x,bottom">

    <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="all" inset="80,40,40,40" />

    Trying to finetune a bit now, you see there's some space not being used above the image so I'm trying to move the image up a bit, have tried playing further with the inset values but they just cut into the image. Ideally I'd like to the get image more upwards and maybe do away with the attribute hexagon and by doing this maybe having room for the personal info below the image, but I don't know how to achieve that, some other insets I should mess with instead to move the image up, get the hexagon out and get the personal info back?

    They are located inside the panels fmf file.

    Oh, thanks, didn't see the folder. Any idea what to change? I'm really not good at this thing. In "player profile personal details" I found these lines:

    <!-- Portrait / Analyser-->

    <container height="150">

    <attachment_group class="horizontal_arrange" horizontal_layout="-1,-1" horizontal_offset="0" horizontal_gap="0" vertical_alignment="vertical" vertical_inset="0" />

    <!-- Club badge image -->

    <widget class="object_portrait_picture" id="pclB" image_alignment="centre" scale_picture="true" wants_mouse_events="true">

    <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="all" inset="20,0,40,40" />

    <record id="object_property" dont_set_hint="true" get_property="Pclb" set_property="objt" />

    <!-- Profile picture -->

    <widget class="picture" id="prop" scale_picture="true" keep_aspect_ratio="true" image_alignment="centre_x,bottom">

    <layout class="stick_to_sides_attachment" alignment="all" inset="40,40,0,0" />

    <!-- only show the picture if we should show portraits -->

    <attachment class="test_setting_attachment" get_setting="show_portraits" default_value="true" set_property="hidn">

    <boolean id="value" value="false" />

    <record id="object_property">

    <list id="get_properties">

    <!--Facegen data request-->

    <record get_property="fcgn" />

    <!--Fake name request-->

    <record get_property="Pfke" />

    <record get_property="prpc" set_property="valu" />

    Which I assume would be the ones to look at but I have no idea where to begin.

    FM19 has reworked that panel so files from previous versions won't work so you'll need to start again with the default FM19 file.

    Okay, do you know where the player profile panel files are located? I've extracted the sitoolkit with the Resource Archiver but can't find any of the player profile/player profile personal details etc etc files.

  9. Hello, so I make facepacks for a fansite in a style that's larger than the regular player faces in the game which means some adjusted panel files are needed for the pics to work. Had trouble getting the panels to work in FM18 but through some assistance on this forum I got them working perfect. However the same files now in FM19 doesn't work and I don't know what to do (editing .xml files ain't my strong suit).

    This is how it looked in FM18 after I got it working:

    And see the attached image for how it's looking now in FM19. So the pic seems to be clashing with the personal info below it and not showing up at all. Ideally I'd like to the player pic to fit and the personal info to be pushed down accordingly, but if the allocation of space is an issue I could do without attribute hexagon (or whatever it's called) and/or the player position map, if it's possible? I've attached the panels too if anyone wants to take a look. Any ideas for solutions?

    Like I said play with the layouts. Line 3. The first "-1" relates to the profile pic and the attribute polygon. The second -1 relates to the table of info. Make the first -1 bigger, you could try -2 or a specific value, i.e. 150, possibly more.

    I could only get it so far, the final part is really going to be dependent on you experimenting to suit your resolutiion. You can always undo (ctrl+z) if you mess it up.

    Thanks, that did it! (changing it to -2), thanks a lot for all the help!

    Right, I've messed about with it 'cos it's easier than explaining. Don't know how it'll look :lol:

    Layouts on line 3 & 7 might need adjusting. Have a look and play with the layouts if need be and let me know...

    player profile personal details.xml

    Thanks! Now for me almost half of the picture is covered by the personal details, I suppose it's because I'm on a macbook so only have a resolution of 1280x800. Is it possible to move the personal details a bit further down? Since there's still some room there (see screenshot). Otherwise great!

    I wasn't expecting an entire folder. To see how all those files interact which you've uploaded I'd need to download a base skin and then upload your files into it and then I'd have to change my computer's resolution as I'm on hi. res. (you're on low res. by the looks of it).

    I'll take a look at the coding of any problematic areas so which panel have you edited for the above issue?

    player profile personal details, sorry for the inconvenience!

  13. 42 minutes ago, D_LO_ said:

    Speaking very generally without seeing your panel. I'd say:

    • Have a close look at the insets and any potentially high values
    • Same applies to any gap values
    • Possibly the pic's alignment if this is the case you could make the container smaller

    You really need the space above, to the side and between sorted first.

    • Also have a look at any layout values, it looks like you could have potentially unbalanced an arrange_horizontal_attachment. The profile pic is clearly impacting on the size of everything else.

    That's a lot of guess work.

    Thanks for the reply, would you have time to check the panel? Would be greatly appreciated.

  14. Hello, I've got no clue when it comes to skins and panels and the like, I'm making facepacks for a swedish FM site, FMSideline.com and since our pics are larger I've edited some panels to get them the right size in-game.

    I've gotten this far (see screenshot), the pic is the right size but as you can see the personal details below has disappeared and the attribute analyser has been affected as well while there is a lot of empty space there instead. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Any help would be greatly appreciated by a whole community!

    I've resolved this.

    Some context as I have a quite specific set-up, I use the attribute analysis paragon re. selector panels on the player overview. So you don't need this first part of code but it's here to show my arrangement to hopefully give a deeper understanding....

    -<container class="client_object_viewer_selector_panel" priority="3" minimum_height="105" id="cos7" file="player/art player overview small selector panel" save_session_state="true">
    <integer id="default_for_unemployed_managers" value=""/>
    <integer id="default_for_international_managers_other_team" value=""/>
    <integer id="default_for_everyone_else" value=""/>
    <integer id="default_for_versus_mode" value=""/>

    So as you can see I use art's selector panel which provides the link. Within this panel I needed to make a slight amendment to the relevant code so it now reads: (I nicked it from someone else's FM17 skin, I forget which one, was a day or two ago)

    <widget class="client_object_viewer_xml_panel" id="paAn" late_loading="true" file="player/player attribute analyser panel">
    <translation id="title" value="Attribute Analysis[COMMENT: player overview; title for a panel showing an attribute analyisis diagram]" type="use" translation_id="334971"/>

    So copy this code into your selector if you have a similar structure to mine or alternatively you could copy this directly into the container within your player overview panel if that's how you're organising your screen. NB: you will obviously need to arrange your container accordingly to harbour this.

    For anyone interested this was the code which was previously not working for me (taken from my FM16 skin and art's panel)

    -<widget id="att2" class="client_object_viewer_xml_panel" late_loading="true" file="player/player attribute analyser panel">
    <translation id="title" value="Attribute Analysis[COMMENT: player overview; title for a panel showing an attribute analyisis diagram]" type="use" translation_id="334971"/>
    <record id="object_property" set_property="objt" get_property="objt"/>

    Hi, thanks for the reply. Though I'm not good at this sort of thing (I just create facepacks, no clue about creating skins etc) so I'm not sure how to use this advice, I think our files are structured differently. Would you mind taking a look in our player overview panel and see what it is that needs to change to either make the attribute analyser appear correctly (or, second best, remove it?)

    player overview panel.xml

    I had the same issue when creating the player overview and likewise the above didn't resolve it for me either (I accounted for the new file structure in panels) I put it down to the fact I used my fm16 skin as the base file whilst I also took a lot of fm16 coding when re-doing the player overview. This won't be the base of my final, released skin though so I will look into it again. It's not a current priority so won't be for a few days but if I resolve it I'll come back here and elaborate.

    Appreciate it!

    In the 'player profile personal details' xml file locate these lines:

                <!-- outfield player analyser panel : visible by default -->
                <widget class="person_attributes_analyser_panel" id="ofap" file="player attribute analyser outfield" hidden="false" auto_size="vertical" />
                <!-- goalkeeper player analyser panel : hidden by default -->
                <widget class="person_attributes_analyser_panel" id="gkap" file="player attribute analyser goalkeeper" hidden="true" auto_size="vertical" />

    And change them to read:

                <!-- outfield player analyser panel : visible by default -->
                <widget class="person_attributes_analyser_panel" id="ofap" file="player\player attribute analyser outfield" hidden="false" auto_size="vertical" />
                <!-- goalkeeper player analyser panel : hidden by default -->
                <widget class="person_attributes_analyser_panel" id="gkap" file="player\player attribute analyser goalkeeper" hidden="true" auto_size="vertical" />

    As the linked file has moved in fm17.

    Hm, didn't work, it looks the same, weird.

    The layout of the panels folder has changed in FM2017, depending on which files you have edited they might need to be put in the panels\player folder rather than just the panels folder like in the past.

    When you have extracted the default files, you need to put your edited file(s) in the same place but within the folder structure for your skin so the game can find your files.

    Thanks for the reply. Tried that, but the result was this. So it seems to be a problem with the files themselves and not just the placement of them. I've attached the panels we've used, can you spot any problems? Thanks!

  19. Hello, hope this is the right place to ask. Over on FMSweden me and a couple of others always make an action style facepack, with the pics measuring 218x305. So to get them to show up in the correct size in the game we've used some modified panels. In the past these panels have worked for each game, but now for FM17 suddenly they don't work and the pics are scaled down in the game. Here's how it looked in FM16 and here in FM17.

    I need some help fixing this, I didn't modify the panels we've used (I've inherited the project from someone else and I think someone on here actually made the panels for him) so I don't know how to fix it, I've extracted the FM17 panels via the Resource Archiver and looked around a bit but need help. How do I change the size of the profile pic?

    Would greatly appreciate some help!

  20. Hi, I'm working on a db where Catalonia and Basque country are real nations, with national teams etc, but where the clubs still play in the spanish league system. For Catalonia I edited Andorra, for Basque country I gave the existing Basque country a continent so it becomes a valid nation.

    I have a problem with newgens however. The catalan teams get catalan newgens, but the basque teams get newgens where Spain is the nationality and basque is the second nationality (like it is in the original database). Both the catalan and basque clubs have Spain set as Nation and international cup playing nation (so they can play in the spanish leagues) but based in Catalonia/Basque country, with the intent that it will generate newgens from the correct nation. So it works for the catalan clubs but not the basque, and I don't know why. All cities, local regions the players come from are of course set to Basque country, but even though a newgen has Bilbao as his birthplace he has Spain as 1st nationality and Basque as 2nd.

    Any ideas?

  21. Thanks, but I don't have a 'player attributes panel profile'. The panels I got from someone else when we worked on facepacks for FM15, might even have been FM14, and I think he downloaded them from somewhere else, the panels fit the previous games but not this and I guess that the absence of the attribute panel is a reason. Are there new panels for FM16? I downloaded artdekdok's panels mods for FM15 now too but didn't find a 'player attributes panel profile' there either. Could you share a file?

    I've got the 'player profile.xml' at least and found the code, will check on that later, thanks alot!
