    When the January window update hits, do teams get updated transfer budgets? For example, I'm planning on going Benfica, and was wondering if they will have a lot of money to spend after the Fernandez deal? If not, I'll just download an update and start now.

    Yep. What I'm unsure about is, are the funds from the January window added for teams who made big sales etc.

    Decided against going Leverkusen for now, seems I just can't play with the summer 2022 squads afterall, I like for things to be up to date 😅 So I'm waiting for the window to close on the 31st January, then I'll either wait for the official update in February or just download one after the 31st, and I'll actually be going Benfica instead 👍🏻

    They mentioned this on the recent PS5 FM announcement. "When the transfer data drops in just over a month’s time you can kick start a new career, ready for the road to football glory." So looks like the end of February.

    Thanks 👍🏻 Do you use any transfer updates or do you just play with the summer 2022 squads? I like the idea of Benfica, the only thing is the league may not be the most competitive, but I guess the real challenge for Benfica is doing well in the Champions League.

    @BadAss88 Benfica or Leverkusen? Can't decide between them. Benfica have great facilities and great youth, potentially loads of wonderkids. Leverkusen play in a more competitive league and seem to have more resources in the game.

    Update will probably be late February going by last year 👍🏻

    I've only heard of NewGan, don't know who created it, do you need to be a patron to be able to use it?

    I take it you guys have to add these faces manually? I would rather get one that does it semi automatically, I think Newgan is what I'm looking for?

    I love the WB (S) role. If you want him to be aggressive without crossing as much you are correct. I notice now that WB (A) doesn't have cross more often either. I think this was changed in the latest update? They certainly had it before from what I remember.

    @Daveincid What's the reason behind tip number 4? Because I'm going to load a certain amount but may want to reduce it if I find things too slow. Stick to the setup you’ve chosen at the start during your save game. I wouldn’t add additional leagues or remove some. If your game becomes too slow I would first set some fully simulated competitions to default. This has a much bigger impact on the „day to day“-performance.

    Yeah I'm going with Leverkusen. As you said, it will be fun trying for that elusive title, and they have a great young squad. My bias swayed it towards them also.

    Yeah it's a tough one. I would imagine Leverkusen still have good budgets in the game, but not on the level of Hertha. Hertha may get a bit easy after a while though.
