  1. Not updated for a while and with all this lockdown stuff then been able to get through a few very good seasons, 22/23 season Euro Cup winners after beating Napoli 2-0 Finished 6th in the league on 70 points, got knocked out of the league cup in the 3rd round and FA Cup in the 5th round Pinamonti finshed with 32 goals in his debut season, bargin at £10m and Rogers on loan from Man City scored 34 in 36 games Transfers In Andrea Pinamonti - £10m Lewis Cook - £33m M Rogers - Loan Raphinha - £17m Augustin - £10m Pongracic £15.5m Barreal - £18.75m Transfers Out Arp - £57m Temenuzhkov - £13.75 Oxford - £12.12m Bajrami - £6m Costa - £5m Alioski - £1.2m Klich - £1m 23/24 Season European Super winners after beating Barcelona 3-0 Finished 6th again in the league on 70 points, knocked out of FA Cup in 4th round by Brighton and quarter finals of the league cup Pinamonti only hit 20 goals all season, but Silva weighed in with 17 and Almeda got 14 Transfers In - James Justin - £3.1m Embalo - £10m Fabio Silva - £50m Marcus Dewhurst - £28.5m J Gelhardt - £10.25m Transfers Out Berardi - £16m Adjapong - £12m Capradossi - £2.3m 24/25 Season Premier League winners League Cup winners Euro Cup winners Beat Liverpool to the title with 99 points, winning 32, drawing 3 and loosing 3 Beat Man Utd 1-0 in extra time to win the league cup Beat Man Utd 3-2 to win the Euro Cup Top Goalscorer was Almada with 27, followed by Silva with 22 Marcus Dewhurst in goal becomes a world class keeper after his 1st season, I only let in 22 goals all season in the league. Along with Kenneh and Pongracic as my two main defenders, both turn into fantastic players, but its Almada who just keeps on getting better & better, not bad for a £5.75m bargin, now worth £81m Transfers In Tyler Boyd - Free G Avila - £11m Katterbach - £13m E Smith Rowe - £20m P Neyens - £47.5m Transfers Out Raphinha - £21.5m Barreal - £12.5m Augustin - £15m Rajkovic - £10m Davis (very good davey) - £6m L Zidane - £4.2m Shackleton - £4m Tyler Roberts - £3m 25/26 Season Premier League winners League Cup winners European Super Cup winners FA Cup winners Champions League winners Won the league with a game to spare, finished with 90 points, winning 28, drawing 6, loosing 4 Beat Man City 2-1 after extra time in the league cup final Beat Arsenal 3-1 in the European Super Cup final Beat Everton 1-0 in the FA Cup final Beat Man City 3-0 in the Champions League final Top Goalscorer is Almada who netted a fantastic 44 goals in 56 games,if you can buy him for ur save then do so as the guy is immense playing just behind the forwards, followed by Pinamonti with 24 & Trincao with 21 Only two players that you start the game with that are still in the team are White and Philips, both still contributing to the team, Philips (now 30 years old) went through a dip in appearnces over the course of the two season 22-23/23-24, but since then he's been my 1st choice alongside Cook in the midfield and they have built up a nice partnership (lets hope he stays aslong with the club in real life) Transfers In Pedrinho - £75m Barbosa - £4.8m Heidemann - £6.25m Pizzo - £4.2m Konigs - £3m Transfers Out McCalmont - £16m Gelhardt - £17.5m Isailovic -£8.25m Tyler Boyd - £9.25m Meling - £6m Mai - £1m Looking forward to 26/27 season, got my eye on a couple of regens players Tal and Cools...both have some insane stats at young ages, will update again soon I've added screen shots, so new players can see how Almada and Kenneh turn out by May 2026
  2. I'd say your team on paper looks good but maybe a few players you could try and pick in on the cheap that could help you out to go alongside the tactics too. Have you got Nketiah in your squad still ? I played him instead of Bamford in my 1st season and he scored 27 goals in 46 games Won the Championship at a canter with 105 points. Won 32, Draw 9, Lost 5 and scored 93 goals along the way. I had Francisco Trincao on a loan deal (20k per month) with a deal in place to buy him for £5 million if i got promoted too and brought in Reece Oxford on loan as CB cover I played Ayling at RB too as he was a better fit for my team than Berardi This was my line up for 1st season, didnt bring anyone else into the squad apart from Trincao and Oxford If you do keep going with Leeds for more season then try and develop Kenneh too as he becomes a beast in 2-3 seasons
  3. I picked this lad up during my 1st season back in the Premier League with Leeds...cost me £5 million from Velez and he's gone onto been one of my main midfielders and has attracted the attention of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan, etc but luckily has always just wanted to stay with Leeds..Dont know if he's a hidden gem or not thought
  4. Not posted in a while, get caught up in the game and forget to post. Story so far - 19/20 Season - Won the Championship at a canter with 105 points. Won 32, Draw 9, Lost 5 and scored 93 goals along the way. Nketiah was top scorer with 27 goals. Transfers In Reece Oxford - Loan (Cover for CB) Francisco Trincao - Loan (Share the Left wing role with Harrison) Transfers Out - Bouy - £160k Miazek - £75k Various u23 players sent out on season long loans for experience 20/21 Season - Finshed 7th in my 1st season back in the big time on 55 points, bit of a wobble at the start but got going in the right direction by the end. Brewster top scorer with 26, followed by Arp on 25 Transfers In - Trincao - £5m Lucas Robertone - £5m Lukas Mai - £130k Birger Meling - £5.5m Reece Oxford - £7.75m Ben White - £17m Fiete Arp - £10.5m Rhian Brewster - Loan Erik Botheim - £700k Transfers Out - Cooper - £11m Bamford - £12m Forshaw - £8.5m Berardi - £4.5m Various u23 players sent out on season long loans for experience 21/22 Season - Finished 5th on 65 points and qualifed for the Euro Cup and made it through the F.A Cup Final against Man U (not played this match yet) Almada is an absolute steal at £5.75m, he's currently worth £35m, is only 21 years old, has some outstanding stats on the game and has chipped in with 28 goals from 45 games and 10 assists. Him and Arp lead the way with 26 goals each with 2 game remaining. On another note Nohan Kenneh is classed as a Wonderkid at 19 years old....he's been getting mainly sub apperances this season after going out on loan previously but think next season could be his season to shine in the 1st team, plus got another 2-3 u23's who could be on the verge of stepping up too Transfers In - Scott Banks - £1.5m Domenico Berardi - £15m Thiago Almada - £5.75m Sofiane Alakouch - £6.25m Claud Adjapong - £5.5m Joanthan Panzo -£6.75m Nedim Bajrami -£1.7m Predrag Rajkovic - £2m Transfer Out - Erik Botheim - £775k Will update once I've played the Cup Final and gone through the transfer window, but think I need to strengthen the team to try and push for a Champions League spot and a good Euro Cup run, whilst fingers crossed trying to keep the likes of Arp and Almada from having there heads turned by Barcelona and Co. Lewis Cook, Costa, Haaland, Pinamonti, Upmecano, Kang-In are all on the shortlist but we'll see what happens as I've not a pot of endless gold...lol #MOT
  5. Mainly the presets but with a few adjustments, but it didn't work well in the 1st part of my return season in the Premier League, so scrapped it. lol will update with end of season info when i get chance
  6. Started a new save with the mighty Leeds as always...bit sad to see my FM19 save go as I'd had a decent 8th final season and won the Quintuple (Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and European Super Cup) but a new version means a new save to start again. Found we started with just under a million pound to spend and very little in wage budget, so decided to follow Biesla in real life and not really bring in any players at all and work with what we've got. Transfers in Reece Oxford - Loan (Cover for CB) Francisco Trincao - Loan (Share the Left wing role with Harrison) Transfers Out - Bouy - £160k Miazek - £75k Various u23 players sent out on season long loans for experience Tactics - Went for a tiki-taka formation that worked well for me in previous game but just moved Klich into a more central midfield role So far going great guns in the league, played 16, won 13, drawn 3, lost 0...scored 39 goals and only conceded 6 and have built up a decent 10 point gap over 2nd/3rd. Nketiah is going great guns as my main goal scorer with 10 goals in 16 game, followed by Costa 6 in 17, Hernandez 5 in 18 and surprisingly Ben White has chipped in with 5 in 14 too. Might send Clarke back to Spurs in Jan as i'm not using him at all and maybe sell Forshaw/Bamford to bring in new faces but not sure yet, a few of the youth players look like they might be very good in a years times. Currently giving 1st team run outs when needed to Davis, Shackleton, McCalmont. Not counting my chickens yet but 10 points clear after 16 games is looking very promising indeed
  7. So started a new save with the mighty Leeds, 1st season Won the Championship quite easily without adding loads of players to the squad. I won it with 95 points and scoring 83 goals. Top scorer was Roofe with 29 goals from 40 games. Transfers in/out 2018/19 Finished 10th in my 1st season back in the Premier League, really struggled at the start but managed to turn it around and avoid the drop Transfer In/Out 19/20 Manged to get Fiete Arp for £22 million and D.Berardi for £21 million, both world class players. Sold Ayling for £11 million and Aloski for £9.25 million. Top Goalscorer was Arp with 21 goals. 2nd season in the Premier League and I'm currently on a 9 match unbeaten run and sit in 5th place after 14 games. Antonio Marin just keeps on getting better and better with every game, now worth 19 million and is a 1st team regular at 19. Jack Clarke is getting sub appearances but it's hard to start him in games with Arp and Haland in the squad. Transfer in/out so far Brought in Xadas and two wonderkids in Haland and Abdulkadir Omur, but while Haland is doing well, the other lad Omur looks like he might be a massive flop for £27.5 million, but you never know. His stats say otherwise, but he's just not clicking in the team yet. Will update again at end of the season.
  8. Hi what leagues have everyone loaded on FM19 to get a good level of players to scout ? Going to be starting my leeds save tomorrow
  9. Another update on my Leeds save. End of season 2020/21 Won the Euro Cup by beating Juventus 4-2 on Pens, which as you can imagine pleased the board and fans no end Start of season 2021/22 and brought in :- Thorgan Hazard - £5.5 million Nahuel Leiva - Free Andrea Pinamonti - £20 million Rodrigo Bentancur - £9.75 million Steven Jovetic - Free Sold :- Jack Stephans - £6.25 million Kalvin Philips - £8 million Bakkali - £7.5 million So far I've played 8, won 6, drawn 2, lost 0 and sit top of the premier league with 20pts and a plus 14 GD Champions Cup and I'm going great guns, sit top of my group having drawn 2-2 with Real Madrid away, and then a 3-0 win over Zenit at home and a 4 nil win over Galatasary (scum) at home too Still got Jansson, Taylor, Byram, Alioski, Cook and Viera as the spine of my team....Cook is world class
  10. So not updated on here for a while with my Leeds save after I got promotion to the Premier League is my 1st season. 1st season back in the Premier League finished 13th with 49 points and most notable transfers were :- Lewis Cook - £15 Million (now worth £45.5 million) Charlie Taylor - £6 Million (now worth £10.75 million) Tobias Svendsen - £1.6 Million (now worth £20 million) For me Alioski has been sensational on every season so far, he's now worth £28.5 million and has chipped in with 58 goals in 121 games so far playing wide on the right, Pontus has been a regular in defence has had Basto from my championship season. 2nd season in Premier League finished 6th and qualified for the Euro Cup, most notable transfers were :- Joe Hart - Free Gaston Pereiro - £6 Million Sam Byram - £3 Million Patrick Cutrone - £19 Million Fiete Arp - £5 Million 3rd season in Premier League and I'm currently 6th with 49 points with 8 games to go. 2nd round knockout of the Euro cup but knocked out in 4th and 3rd round of the FA cup and league cup. I was flying along in December and going into January, then Monaco came sniffing round Cutrone who had scored 36 goals in 55 games in 1.5 season for me, he had a release clause of £73 million and they matched it. I tried to offer him a new contract with a higher release clause but he declined. I suppose £54 million profit in 1.5 season is not bad going. I've invested £20 million of it in Pinamonti from Inter but he doesn't join until the summer, so hoping Woodburn, Arp and Iheanacho can get me over the line for Champion league or Euro cup spots and keep the run in the Euro Cup going, had some very good wins so far in this cup, including an 8-0 drubbing of Maccabi Haifa and a 6-1 win against FC Kobenhavn. Think I'm going to have a good clear out of players in the summer as some of my signings haven't either been the best or made the grade, some of those were decent money but they just haven't settled in or performed as they should, so out they go I think, the likes of Jack Stephens, lots of promise, good stats but for £79k a week, just doesn't perform week in, week out for me. Will update once the season is over and I'm into next season, but so far really loving FM 2018
  11. Hi, the player in question in my game is called Tobias Svendsen, he is Norweigan and he signed his previous contract with me on 9/6/2018, but as he has become one of my top players in the 1st team he is now asking for a new contract as of October 2019....when he signs the new contract he goes unregisted. I guess all players like this would need to be offered contracts only inside of transfer windows when the registration period is open. SI have requested I upload my save file, so they can look into it also, but what your saying does make sense. Surely must be some way round it, not like we are trying to to sign a new player outside of a transfer/registration window, there should be special rules so that you can just register him again because he's already making 1st team apperances.
  12. I've had this exact problem tonight...one of my up and coming young player wanted to discuss a new contract. I signed him up and he became unregistered for the next match and I cannot register him until Januray transfer window ! He is classed as a Domestic U21 player, (20 years old - 31/8/1999) so doesn't even need registering I re-loaded my save game to before the point of him asking me for a new contract and tried to offer him a new contract, he accepted and he becomes unregistered yet again ! I'm currently in October 2019 with Leeds Utd in the Premier League Guess I'll be reloading my save and no offering him a contract until January 2020 transfer window
  13. So my 1st season done and dusted...finished 2nd after beating 3rd place QPR in the final game of the season. Won my last three games to close a 5 point gap to 2nd place Signing of the season has to have been Adam Maher (AM/C) from PSV - £1.1 million, 42 games, 7 goals, 16 assists and 7 Man of the Match and Hugo Basto (D/C) from Arouca for an intial loan of £79k for the season but was made permanent in January 17 for £1.2 million Player of the season was Kemar Roofe who was played as an advanced forward and hit an incredible 31 goals in 41 games including 5 goals in a 6 - 0 defeat of Notts Forest Onto pre-season and looking to strengthen the squad to keep us in the Premier League Lewis Cook is unhappy at Bournemouth as he wants 1st team games and Everton have just been relegated, so might be few pickings from that team New Goalkeeper, striker, left back, right back and central defender and possibly attack mid/winger needed I think
  14. Same boat as you guys, not much funds to start with unlike some of the other championship teams. Defence is a huge focus area as cannot relay on Pontus 'Magic' Jansson to do it all by himself. I brought in the following :- Hugo Basto from Arouca on a season long loan and hes my 1st choice pairing with Jansson Nuno Valente from Arouca (825k) looks like a good championship level Attacking Mid Helder Ferreira from Vit.Guimaraes on a season long loan as back up for Saiz and Alioski Mauro Bustamante on a free transfer but didn't get his work permit, so sending him on load in the hope I get one after the next 120 days as he looks a decent striker Adam Maher from PSV for £1.1 Millon - My biggest expense this transfer window so far but has slotted into my 1st team perfectly So far I'm 3rd in the Championship having won 3 and drawn 1
