Full Name in the game: Lukas Rodriguez Da Cruz Actual name: Lukas Rodrigues da Cruz - Maternal surname inexplicably in Spanish despite the fact his parents are Portuguese. Changing someone's name into a different language is not common practice in modern times, at least within Western Europe. It's as if you registered Michel Preud'Homme as "Michael Wise-Man" for no apparent reason. - "da" is lower case. Follow up: Belgian's his only citizenship in the game, but he's very likely to have Portuguese citizenship as well, as the child of at least one Portuguese parent. Name in-game: Hugo Correira Rocha Correct spelling: Hugo Correia Rocha ^ That issue applies in both his full name & his last name. From what I've seen, it's very common for non-Portuguese natives to make this mistake with Portuguese surnames that end with "eia" i.e. Gouveia and Correia, adding an "r" that isn't there. I guess that's because there's more Portuguese surnames that end in "eira" i.e. Ferreira, Oliveira, Vieira. You can confirm the correct spelling in his own IG account; https://www.instagram.com/hugo_correia4/?hl=en (why does he go by his first (maternal) surname, anyway? That makes him sound Spanish.)

As per the subject. So far I've only been able to control how often some routines are used compared to others, but this would only make sense if I could assign my balanced set pieces routine to my balanced tactics, and the offensive set pieces to my "all out attack" variant.

While I'm in this screen, might as well note another couple of (much less serious) issues. Wide and deep free kicks were translated properly, but there's a gender mismatch between the noun for "free kick" and the adjectives for "wide" and "deep". "Livre" is a singular male noun, which means its adjectives should use their singular male inflexions, as well. The game uses the female version instead. Current translations: "Larga", "Profunda" Correct translations: "Largo", "Profundo"

Hello, everyone! I've taken a break from the Portuguese version for a couple of years, for multiple reasons that include an ever-plummeting mental health status and a new job, but when I saw "Shooting Range" in the new Set Pieces tutorials, I got an urge to switch the game to Portuguese as I knew there was a considerably high possibility that this would be mistranslated as if it was the establishment where you take your handguns to improve your aim, instead of football. ... and I was right. In the game, "Shooting range" is clearly supposed to indicate free kicks that are close enough to the goal for them to be direct shots, as in "within shooting range". But as mentioned above, "Carreira de tiro" is the kind of shooting range where you take your handgun to so that you practice your gunshots. It's admittedly not easy to translate. The ideal expression would be "Dentro do alcance de remate", which is too long. Current translation: Carreira de tiro Suggestion: Em alcance de remate This was, unfortunately, a predictable issue. "Shooting Range" (particularly if without context) is a technical term that would only be properly understood by someone highly proficient in English footballing terms, which has been an issue for the Portuguese translations these years.
