I've been busy with work so I've been running a lot of "start unemployed" saves running the "go on holiday" for 2 years then checking to see if any Tycoon takeovers occur. My save (December 2024) has four tycoon takeovers after I searched them out. In years past I'd get a notification if a tycoon takeover was completed but not one mention with any of the four

The only way I've found to do it: FM Scout - under staff search I filter resources and Business to 19+. The individuals will show up who meet the criteria. Then go to the game, look at the club they are associated with and go to the History and then look at Landmarks. If they had a tycoon takeover it will be listed here.

I've been using a 4-5-1 (AML and AMR) in matches I'm favored and a 4-1-4-1 when I'm up against PSG level teams. With the amount of pace the wingers that the team has at the start of the game (Doku, Sulemana) and Forwards that like to press, this formation has suited me well. In the first transfer window I brought in Jaime Seoane from Huesca for £2.2 and Josip Sutalo from Dinamo Zagreb for £2.8. That was it; the squad had enough cover imo to not bring anyone else in. Finished 2nd behind PSG by 4 points. I'm in season 4 and I finally have a team that is deep enough to challenge PSG and Champions League.

I'm managing Rennes as well. I must say that this is my most fun save I've had in years on FM. I'm 3 seasons in and finished 2nd every year. I just started season 4, 10 games in and I'm top but PSG are lurking with a front 3 of Mbappe (He left on a free and came back), Haaland and Raphinha.
