Whether you plan to jump into one of the 3 new game modes (Original, Real World, or Your World), trying FM on a new platform for the first time, or if you are challenging your friends using Cross-play for the first time on Console, we’d love to hear your feedback. This thread is a place for us to collate your feedback for Console & Touch. The threads are monitored and read by lots of different members of the SI team and other forum users. We may reply in some instances, as will the forum mods - but we can't reply to everything. One thing to keep in mind is that the Bug Tracker is the place for any issues you find with the game so please try and keep those separate from this feedback thread. For any troubleshooting say for crashes or being unable to launch, read our FAQ's (Console / Touch). We're looking for feedback across all areas of the game, but we're especially looking for feedback on our new features across all platforms such as Apple Arcade, Nintendo Switch, and Console. What we try to ask every year is please if you’re raising feedback, try and make it constructive. We've seen that these types of threads can see posts focused on the tactical side of the game and whilst this is interesting, it's a much more appropriate discussion for our Tactics, Training, and Strategies Discussion. Don’t make it personal. Attacks and the like won’t be tolerated. SI Staff and our volunteer moderating team will engage where we can, but any abuse makes that much more unlikely. Finally, don’t forget you can now import your saves from 2023 and continue your managerial career! Personally haven't found processing being an issue when running FM24 on Deck @jens_dewit - you definitely got it on your SSD?

As long as all parties are using the console version (Xbox Console or Xbox on PC/PS5) you'll be able to play together

From launch, you'll be able to play FM Console on your laptop via GamePass (or purchase of the game in full).

@rich10 - This current workaround should work and we'll look to see if we can push a fix this in a future update. 1. When in Desktop Mode, click the folder in bottom left corner 2. Under ‘Devices’ select Home 3. In the top right corner, click on the drop menu and make sure ‘Show Hidden Files’ is ticked 4. Navigate to Deck/Local/Share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1904540/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2023/Games. 5. Copy the save. 6. Then navigate to Navigate to Deck/Local/Share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2252570/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/Games. 7. Paste the save. 8. Then in FM24, load the save game. It'll get converted and then open. Let us know how you get on.

Are you able to upload a copy of your save? (I'm aware you are experiencing some issues with some of your saves as per your other thread)

The team has located the cause of this and has created a fix - this will be pushed as part of a future update.

Are you able to confirm if you can navigate to/see the FM23 folders at all on your Steam Deck when browsing in FM24? Can you also confirm if you still have FM23 installed?

This is by design. You'll need to start a new save to use these leagues. This should be covered in question 14 here

Try opening Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Ransomware protection - See if Controlled folder access is enabled and if so allow FM24 by directing to it

Some further information we'd like to request. Can you please upload the following two files from c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs? console_log.txt content_log.txt Simply enter "c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs" in the File Explorer address bar and hit enter. You should be able to locate the two files above. If you have already posted in this thread, can you update your post with the above information?

Can you try opening task manager and ending all Steam related tasks. Reload Steam, right click FM2024 and create a desktop shortcut. Try running this shortcut as an administrator.

@liamallenby09 - As mentioned on the other threads you have commented on, please create your own thread so we can diagnose the issue you are experiencing.

Thanks for raising this. As a reminder, this is an Early Access version and is not the full game. The Early Access version also contains information that is still under approval process by right holders and may contain data that does not, at this time, accurately reflect real-world data. For context, some club and player assets may be absent during Early Access.
