1 "What we've got here is a failure to communicate"
  1. Yeah that's one of the options I have thought about, but despite having roughly 12 goals and 5 assists a season for the past 4 years, no one has come in with an offer anywhere close to the £50 million I spent on him, and of course making a profit is important. I have a mint regen coming through that already at 19 years old has 17 passing, vision and technique so my long term aim is one more season on loan for him and then to introduce him into the team. My thoughts are by having the SV on support he's less likely to spend the whole game making runs and thus ruining the team shape, and I want to get Bellingham involved in the game. I will try putting roam on the AMC Thank you for the advice.
  2. Yeah this is the new one i'm going to be using at the start of this new season. I did well enough winning the league but I'm really wanting the most from Leonardo has he has the attributes to be one of the best strikers in the world, he's just not doing enough with his chances. I thought maybe a Poacher instead of Advanced Forward but I feel that would do the opposite purpose and leave him more isolated. The reason I have the work ball into box is because Gonçalves has shoots from distance which is always a pain as it seems he scores about 1 in every 1000, though I suppose a shoot less often instruction could do that as well despite the fact I do want him as a goal threat. Wing Back on Defend is meant to be a thing because of Bellingham's tendency to get forward, as I want more support on the right hand side as in the past it seems most of my goals allowed was due to the wingbacks bombing forward and leaving too much space in behind in combination with Bellingham's forward runs. Thanks for the reply and the advice : )
  3. Hello, asking for some tactical advice with my 4-2-3-1, primarily with my instructions in conjunction with me trying to get my striker involved in the game more. Marcus Leonardo only had 18 goals in all competitions, less then Rashford and Gonçalves, and even with those 18 goals he only averaged a 6.96 all year, which to me implies that if he's not scoring, he's not impacting the game in any way to earn a high rating. I had Gonçalves as a Shadow Striker last year which leads me to think he was getting in roughly the same positions as Leonardo meaning the 18 goals was because they were occupying the same place. The reason I had Gonçalves as a Shadow Striker however is because if i didn't there's a high chance Leonardo wouldn't impact a game, leading to Rashford being the only goal threat. My tactic relies on the front 5 in attack being from left to right; Udogie, Rashford, Leonardo, Gonçalves, Sancho. With Caicedo providing cover on the left for Udogie's runs, and Bellingham being a late arrival into the box if needed. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions to help, be it to do with the Leonardo problem or anything to do with how I set my team up along with instructions. In past years I was the type to use a downloaded tactic so this year i'm trying to use my own.
