  1. Here's an example of what I'm talking about... But then for an example of the same file working as it should be...
  2. So as the title suggests, I'm looking for people who have knowledge of the Support_Staff file and how it works. Here's a little a bit of information on what I'm doing, so that you get some sort of idea what information I'm looking for... I'm creating future regens, which I know how to do perfectly fine. However, when I'm creating regens with a birthdate of 2042 - 2048, they're appearing in game within the first season at the age of 14, but with the correct birthdate... All the other players that I've created with earlier birthdates, ranging from 2007 up until 2037, are all appearing within the game when they should do. Does this mean that there is a maximum age within the Support staff file, before it starts to bug out? If so, does anybody know what that max is and why?
  3. Would make more sense to make it playable from the start, otherwise its essentially pointless. Having said that, it seems more like a personal file for just yourself, but I could be wrong.
  4. Some people just have a chip on their shoulder, treat people with kindness and you might receive the same back, that's how I think anyway. I'm actually curious to know what he's running.
  5. You're not going to get the information you want because it doesn't yet exist in the public domain. However, if you list what you currently have in your computer, people could suggest upgrades for it.
  6. I dont play the game, but I use the editor if that counts
  7. There can be multiple reasons this happens, but the most obvious one would be your goalkeeper cracks under pressure too easy. The reason for that can most probably be found within his hidden stats which make up his personality. I'd maybe look there first, find someone with a bit more grit and determination. You would automatically feel that the game is screwing you, but chances are it's actually a flaw within your team, work out the flaw and make the change and success will be yours.
  8. Personally I do think it's realistic, but that's just my opinion. Maybe it's possible that your way of thinking is old fashioned? Players aren't men these days, they're babies...
  9. If you have football manager 2019, you can try out the one that "themadscientist" released, it will be on the workshop. If not, I'll be releasing it for football manager 2024 within the next 2 months.
  10. It might not be in the initial release, but as far as competitions go, it is something which I can do afterwards as a seperate download. I'd have to do a bit of research for the rules though, hopefully there's information out there for that.
  11. I was trying to be polite by not pointing this out, but considering the cat is out of the bag now, yeah I agree it's strange
  12. In an ideal world they would make it so that the AI is intelligent. Then you could actually respond with your own thoughts, via a chatbox that someone here has already mentioned. They could keep the temperament aspect, so that the AI could understand how you said something, not just what you said.
  13. If there was a 1966/67 database, what would be the one thing you'd like to see? So back on Football Manager 2019, TheMadScientist created a 1966/67 database. I have recently started porting that over to Football Manager 2024 after receiving the go ahead from the man himself. My question to you, is what would you like to see if you could play such a database? Maybe you played it back in 2019 and you thought to yourself... well this would make it better... I'm not just looking to port it over, but also improve it as well, whether that's for release or as an improvement later down the line. It could be anything, a player, a club, a league, a Nation... or maybe you have something else in mind?
  14. Zlatan will be in the next update. I'm not sure exactly when the update will be, but SockeySoka is doing it as we speak every day.
  15. If we were talking 10 to 15 years ago, I'd agree with what you said. In todays game, reasonable players are few and far between. Being a football manager is like being a primary school teacher these days.
  16. Well if they don't want to leave and they just want to push you out, then I guess it's a respect thing, or a lack thereof.
  17. This is just the life of a small club... You can't expect the celebrations to go on too long after winning big, there's always a price! That's where you need to be pro-active and sell the moaners, but also have his successor already lined up. If you thought winning the Champions League meant that you would do the same every season, but didn't have a plan for it, you're going to quit the game as you said.
  18. I could have just the thing for you in around a months time! I'm currently rebuilding TheMadScientist's fm2019 (1966-1967) database and it will be available on FM2024 steam workshop! The database is almost in it's complete state as of right now, but there's a few things I need to do with it to make it epic.
  19. Heard a lot about Moukoko, never had the pleasure to use him though! John Fleck is one I definitely recognise.
  20. Thanks for your contribution, my fave from that list has to be Kim Kallstrom!
  21. Just a little update on things, SockeySoka has decided to continue this database in my absence, as I focus on my latest project. Updates to follow later.
  22. Anthony Vanden Borre is definitely the one that stands out to me there as a proper wonderkid legend, I'm probably wrong but I'm sure I had him in my FM07 save
