I am not really sure what to think anymore.

I didn't buy FM 2022 and FM 2023 because of the lack of improvements and now I  can't buy FM 2024 because I see many people here complaining about this game-breaking issue. I am also probably not the only one, so this is really bad. I hope they will fix this because I want to buy FM 24 because it is the last of its kind; but all the key issues must be resolved. This one especially, I don't want to play babysitter simulator.

You started the save as a  low reputation coach probably, so its not that bad getting questioned by players , stop overeacting.

Of course, but if my assistant is telling me something, i need more context. An example, if he thinks i should man mark a specific player, I would like to understand why.... hes got pace of 17, my defender has pace of 10, but im playing a low defensive line, so would want to know the reasoning behind the assistant telling me to man mark him. Its mainly for context, not help

oh,yeah  makes sense with that example, but again I thought that's the fun part, having to figure it out

This is my biggest gripe. If the assistant could give us some sort of advice that could help create a picture in my head of why?

"Why should i mark that player?"

"Why shouldn't I press that player?"

"I know we are overcrowded in midfield, what should I do?"

The assistant just saying words and stating the obvious is not really 'assisting' if i can see it myself

Finding this funny, You are the main main and should figure it out for competitiveness.  you should maybe know why you are supposed to press or mark as a head coach otherwise you should get demoted to be the assistant of  under 18s at your club

I don't know where you could, but if you find someone who want it, then you can probably do so. No clue how it would be done though.

    Hi there

Can you please send us your save file where 90% of the goals are from set pieces?

Do you have some stats within the game you can share to show this stat of 90% of goals from set pieces is correct?

    thank you

I've had enough of the beta, I'll be back for full release. As much as I like the new ME improvements, there's a bunch of new problems that have come along with it and frankly, it's ruining the experience for me. So many silly short passes going straight to opposition, away games (no matter who the opposition) seem like they require a whole new tactic and I've never given away so many penalties like I have in FM24.

I think there could be a problem wth some people expecting the game or players to 100% react or respond to how they want or need them too..that is never possible even to pep with his absolute dominant teams , lots of variables in football. these issue you noted down suggest you should improve as a manager or at east improve your players then, not a game issue IMO

I currently have a player unhappy about a team talk made when he wasn't even contracted to the club, he signed a month and two days after it \o/

Either it's a bug or we have a **** stirrer in the dressing room.

Yeahh  i find it real fun maybe because I  take it as what it is, a game, lots of imaginations required, The last thought could be true someones going around spoiling your name to pple who don't even know you(probably those who got mad at the interview talk)

Again, same applies to the Premier League. If you believe there's a genuine issue here you're going to have to show us some detailed information and comparisons against real life in the bugs forums.

Teams can and do get over 90% pass completion in real life. I just went to Wyscout and according to them, Burnley have 88.3% pass completion so far this season in the league cup, and 82.6% in the Premier League. Very close to the average you're saying is a problem?

I'm not saying that it's impossible for there to be an issue, but so far we've not had any sort of detailed bug report highlighting a major problem. Stats being different between FM23 and FM24 doesn't really mean much as long as the numbers are within realistic means.

SI give us the closest  realism we can get in terms of real world football management, again they are never perfect and I doubt anyone is. Most of this complaints are good in aiding the positive development of the game but IMO some of the takes I usually see are just baseless. 'Pass completion too high compared to last year', 'posts too white compared to 2017 version' 'can't sell players easily' .Selling players has never been like going to get candy from the shops,  it's never easy to sell players IRL. most top teams get stuck with deadwood who run down their contracts. Bakayoko, drinkwater ,jones, maguire, Lukaku and a dozen others who have to terminate at times.

You right it does happen in IRL like chairmen refusing your 2million offer only to sell player for 300k to another club next day ,or a player refusing your 2k a week only to sign for a smaller club on £700 a week that happens irl to ? No it dont its broke every year

Ah!Such transfers are bugs of course, Didn't say game was bug free mentioned about unexpected match results
