Not sure about depth, but probably FMM is very similar to the proper FM2006 PC game, or even FM2008 (feeder clubs) with the omission of team talks in FMM.
For some reason I fondly remember FM 2007, 2008 and 2012. After that the PC game got too tedious to manage. At some point I enjoyed FM Touch as the perfect mix, but since the kiddo broke my tablet more than a year ago, it is 100% FMM for me.

I would love to see the addition of crowd noise. Even it is much more simplified than what probably the proper PC game currently offers. When playing the PC game of old I never turned it off since it adds much needed atmosphere to the match day experience.

I purchased FMM for both iPhone and Android (as I do every year). Obviously, FMM on iPhone Xs outperforms the budget Android (some super cheap $50 Samsung), but surprisingly, the game is very playable on it even with enhanced match engine (albeit quite choppy but would do if all I could afford was a cheap phone). No overheating Need to install it on the $150 Nokia I got as a media player (as much as I love my iPhone I need to side load some apps not available in my countries store; Android is perfect for that).
Point is, probably the $50 Android will run FMM better than Bluestacks which I tried long ago and gave up after 5 minutes.

Thanks for your feedback. Harmony is high in my team. We were over performing. Pundits had us fighting relegation, but we managed to occupy the top spots for the first half of the season.

Hi everyone,
I'm back to managing in FMM2019 after a hiatus of several years. Although I bought FMM every year, most of my time I spent managing on FMTouch and FMM got sidelined. Now, that the iPad broke, I got time to enjoy FMM again.
Help me to remember, please, what are useful countermeasures to overcome a typical mid-season slump? I was 2. in VNN conference before Christmas. Since then, I wasn't able to win not a single match by end of January. Dropped down to 12 in the league. I tried different tactics, rotation, etc. Nothing seems to help. Thanks for your suggestions.

FM desktop compared to mobile

I think I have to correct myself. FM2007 saw the addition of feeder clubs and FM2008 added match flow besides other things. Not sure when board interaction and board requests were added, but all of the above is obviously, to some degree, present in FMM.
For me, the most important upgrade ever to the mobile game was the enhanced ("proper") match engine. Not sure how it compares to the PC one (not in terms of 2D versus 3D, but in terms of simulation), but it pretty much feels like the FM2007 one with the additions of VAR and some other changes or enhancements.
