FOUND AND SOLVED THE PROBLEM. For anyone facing the same issue, you solve it here:

Additionally, I'm posting additional screenshots to fully explain the issue. When I want to use the drop down to scout the player for a week, the only two options I have are scout player for two weeks and fully scout player. But since I've changed scouting preferences from the Scouting Preferences tab to 'one week,' when I use the 'Scout Player' button on his profile, then scouting in effect becomes limited to a week like I intended. In other words, the game recognizes the fact that I want to scout the player for a week, but the drop down menu does not give me that option as it's set on scout player for two matches, EVEN THOUGH MY OTHER SAVE SUFFERS FROM THE SAME ISSUE IN A DIFFERENT WAY, I.E. THE DROP DOWN MENU GIVING ME THIS TIME ONLY THE SCOUT PLAYER FOR A WEEK OPTION.

Does that mean this cannot be changed? Then how can I get two saves where the drop down menu shows two different things?

Hello, When I want to scout an individual player and right click his name, there's the Report > Scout Player (for 1 week) option. But when I want to change this to Scout Player for 2 weeks, for some reason the change I make in the Scouting Center Preferences section is not reflected on the player tab. That is, when the Scouting Preferences is set to Scout Player for 2 matches, the drop down menu on the player view remains the same, i.e. scout player for one week. The problem is, if I need to scout multiple players at the same time say during youth intake, I'm forced to use the drop down menu and since whatever change I make in the preferences section does not come into effect on the drop down menu, I'm forced to scout 15 year olds for two matches instead of 1 week, which creates all sorts of issues. Am I doing something wrong, or is this is a bug of some sorts?
