Sorry, i might be to late, but i suggest 1-2 million at most to be more realistic. -
Hello, I noticed that FC Utrecht again has a very high starting transfer budget (2.5 million pounds) and this is an issue, as irl FC Utrecht doesn't have anything to spend and is dependent on free transfers and loanees. In FM22, thanks to good scouting and a starting transfer budget of 3 million euro's and even higher in the following season i was able to reach the Conference league final and second place in my 2nd season, which was really frustrating as i felt it was too easy, and the transfer budget is part of the problem. I suggest hereby that the transfer budget gets changed to a more realistic amount of money.

Just like in FM22 starting budgets are completely unrealistic. My club FC Utrecht gets 2.5 million while they have nthing to spend irl. Do your research FM! In FM22 i had a save where in the second season with Utrecht i managed to finish 2nd and reached the conference league final, which is completely unrealistic IRL. Also other clubs are affected and this ruins a part of the fun for me, as the game is less challenging.

Guess the AI found out your tactic and how to counter it. Try changing it up a bit and see what happens next. Also, i see your playing FM17, so i suggest a 4-3-3 as i believe it was overpowerd in FM17.
