Hmm, thanks for the comment. There was quite many different teams that got promoted when I took vacation over and over again just from July 8th to July 9th though. Just never Barcelona B... But maybe if I take vacation for a month there is gonna be an even bigger spread, because then more of the season remains and the variation should be bigger.

It's the same day as when it changes from one season to the next, when you see that the league tables get updated with the new teams. So I just took it day by day to see when they would update the league tables and on my save it was 9th of July.

Update: I found out what date they decide the promotions, and reloaded that day over and over again to try to get Barcelona B promoted. It wasn't the same teams that got promoted each time, which gave me hope. But Barcelona B haven't got promoted any of the times... I have tried 20 times now, think I am giving up soon.

Promotion is random but based on the clubs' reputation. So if you save and reload 10 times before the promotion dates the club with the highest reputation will be promoted more often.

Ok thanks. Well, FC Barcelona's rep is already top of Europe but yes I'll do what I can to improve both Barcelonas' and Barcelona B's reputation. And then reload the promotion day many times. Thanks!

Thanks. And there is no way to improve the reputation of Barcelona B since I can't control them, right? From the editor, yes, but that is too late now I guess. Maybe when I give them good and famous players their reputation will also improve, I don't know. However, as I wrote in the other thread, I am gonna try that thing with reloading the date when they decide the promotions. Hopefully it'll work!

Did you ever manage to get your B team promoted to the playable leagues? I am struggling with a similar problem with Barcelona B, on FM 2010 actually. They were relegated from the 3rd tier (lowest playable league) during the first season. Now I am on the sixth season and I still can't get them promoted from the 4th tier.
I have moved players good enough to play in La Liga to their squad, and I can see from the players' stats that the goalkeeper keeps a clean sheet in 60 percent of his games, and that two of their strikers scores almost 1 goal/game. The midfielders have loads of assists etc. It's been like this for a few seasons now but still they don't get promoted.
I don't know what to do to solve this problem. Move even more good players to their squad? I can't understand how they don't get promoted from the 4th tier with the team they already have though...
What I am gonna try next is to find out what date they decide the promotions and then reload that day many times to see what happens.

I have resumed an old FM 2010 save that I had with a friend, where I am Barca and he is Real. We are now in the sixth season.
The thing is that already during the first season, my Barcelona B got relegated from Division 2 B3, the third tier of the league system and the lowest available in the game. I would like to have them back among the available leagues, and later on get them to climb up to the second league. But they never manage to get up from the division they ended up in! I can not follow their exact results, but in recent seasons I have moved down players who are good enough to play in La Liga and checked their stats. The last season their goalkeeper has kept a clean sheet in 60 percent of the matches and they have two strikers who averaged almost 1 goal per game. The midfielders had a lot of assists and also a lot of goals. But they did not get promoted! I really do not understand how that team can not have managed promotion from the fourth league, both in terms of the quality of their squad and in terms of the amount of goals/assists/clean sheets from their players.
I read in another forum that for teams who are out of the lowest available league, promotion is randomized based on some kind of lottery based on the clubs' rumors, but I do not know if that is true.
Anyone who knows anything about this or have any tips on how I can get Barcelona B promoted from their division?0

If you just play like nothing season by season and hope for the best? Yes, if you're lucky they'll get promoted.
