  1. Does anyone know why, whenever I try to run FMRTE, I get a window pop up saying it has stopped working almost instantly?
  2. Had a mix and match start really. Some good wins and some awful defeats. 6 games in and currently 10th, although it's a very open league at the moment. Cruising through the Europa however and defeated Arsenal in the League Cup with Everton next to play. Brought in a number of young players, Zezinho, Wickham and some Spanish lad called Kevin, as well as some more experienced players like Roberto Carlos and Steve Finnan providing solid back-up at full-back. Not really sold anyone, but Fabio Aurelio and Lucas have both been loaned out with views to a permanent deal - although I hope that Lucas remains as I only loaned him out to guarentee he got games. Have found that both Wilson and Pacheco slot into the team really well and perform well, with N'gog not doing bad at all. Even Spearing seems to be decent back-up at the moment.
  3. Cambridge C - 2011/12 - Blue Square North Season started brilliantly, sat top of the table for a while before a poor run of form saw us drop towards the end of the play-offs. Signing Spanish duo Michel and Sabino (both surprisingly accepted trials) proved to be key as both performed fantastically in the latter stages, including Sabino's terrific two goals which helped us come from 2-0 down against Rotherham United in the FA Cup, one from 40 yards. Promotion was sealed with a 3-0 win over Barrow in the play-off finale, with both Spaniards and top scorer Walker scoring. League Table: http://i37.tinypic.com/15meg0j.jpg Player of the Season: James Walker http://i34.tinypic.com/msf9sm.jpg Other notable mention: Michel http://i34.tinypic.com/3308x2s.jpg Other competitions: FA Cup: 3rd Round. Beat Bury Town, Chippenham, Salisbury, Rotherham and Kidderminster before losing 3-1 to Millwall. FA Trophy: 1st Round. Thrashed Chesham before losing to Chester.
  4. Cambridge C - 2010/11 - Blue Square North Tough season, very tough start as the club was sat bottom up until around December time. However, finally got some wins going, including a 6-3 win over leaders Southport. Impressive end, but still finished just outside the relegation spots. Already in the 2011/12 season and signed some players that should help move us up the table. League Table: http://i36.tinypic.com/jshp2e.jpg Player of the Season: http://i38.tinypic.com/2149jqe.jpg Barrie Matthews, signed before I came in charge. 41 games, 6 goals, 9 assists, 3 Man of the Match awards. Other competitions: FA Cup: 2nd Qualifying Round, lost 1-0 to Brackley. Embarassingly. FA Trophy: 3rd Qualifying Round, lost 2-1 to Solihull Moors in a replay. Quite unlucky actually.
  5. Got it started and picked Cambridge City.. Currently in January.. Sat second from bottom, hit a poor run but have started to recover and have moved the points tally up.. Still in need of a goalkeeper and a striker.. Any you can think of?..
  6. Anyone able to help?.. Tried to download the link to retain players, but apparently 'Windows cannot open this file'.. How do I get around that?..
  7. Reading all this makes me want mine.. Will get this started as soon as mine came.. Never tried the challenge before, but I've taken Newport County and AFC Wimbledon into the Championship before moving on to other clubs, so hopefully this will go as well as them..
  8. Serge Makofo and two Georgians from CM 02/03.. Chelidze and Sulaberade(?) World Class and were the reason I was so successful as Liverpool manager with Makofo and Sulaberade in the midfield and Chelidze a LB..
