Unfortunately the database I'm using doesn't replicate that really, I've only had 1 French player come through so far.  I have managed to produce a few really good players,  one of whom secured a move to league 1 Coventry so hopefully there will be more jersey born players in the English league!

Great move for that level! Would be nice to have a link with pompey to rival Guernsey/saints too:D

Which system do you use with a poacher?

Yes I have been very lucky and its funded a very impressive youth setup!

Would be great to see Jersey climb the leagues! Do you produce youth players with dual/french nationality/names?

Hopefully your youth set up can produce a Jersey Matt Le Tissier:D

Also think quick advanced forwards are the most important position at that level, which system do you play with a poacher(s)?

Even if so, the questions have been answered including the link to the manual:

    https://community.sigames.com/manual/football-manager-2021/players-r768/

Nobody knows how exactly the attributes are weighted except the Devs. I just don't see the need of creating topic over topic again if it's actually answered already, but I'm not a moderator:D

I understand posting the manual as main reference,  but reading it could still be a bit overwhelming as it implies the user having a half decent understanding of football to start with.

Stock answer for questions on here always seem to be a bit dismissive and not at least offer an opinion to help

  4. @Zemahhhas nailed it really, my main priority at non-league level are the fastest strikers and wingers you can find for a very basic and direct 424/442.
Also like to have a big target man for a plan B if you need to mix it up.

A half decent set piece taker can be very useful and contribute extra points which can be vital.

I wouldn’t worry a huge amount about the debt, almost all clubs in non-league are in a similar situation - you just need to have an extremely short term focus on winning promotions and nothing else development wise regarding your club.

    Up the Cadbury:D

  5. There are a few attributes that spring to mind for interceptions:

Positioning, decisions, anticipation, marking, aggression, work rate

I think some are more important depending on the player’s position - positioning/marking for a centre back and perhaps work rate/aggression for a ball winning midfielder

If I had to go with one I’d pick positioning

  6. Enfield Town will still have the reputation of a level 7 side, your scouts won’t find many National North/South level players willing to sign at first.

Scouts at that level aren’t always the most accurate either, players not labelled good enough can still turn out to be important players that can win promotion. Physical attributes are very important at the lower levels so use your own judgement.

Trials and loans from a parent club can help increase the quality of your squad in non league

  7. Still haven’t had a keeper ever injured in a live match (never have a gk on the bench).

Next league game will be the first time I’ve had all senior keepers out injured though, 1st choice picked up a groin strain (3-5 weeks) and backup has a cold (3 days). He was the first “injured” so sent him home before knowing our 1st choice picked up his injury! Both occurred on the day before our league match! Debut for the terrible u18 keeper:D
