I'm currently using a 442 diamond in my save and our defence is extremely shakey according to the data hub. Looking into it most of our goals are conceded by crosses into the box. Makes sense as the flanks only have the fullbacks to defend. The midfield pair are a mezzarla and carrirelo on support. Team instruction to stop crosses. 

I don't want to change formation as attack wise we are fine. Just wondered if anyone has any advice on what else I could try.

Thank you! I did have a site that showed lots of information. Daljit mentioned it in one of his streams but that’s long gone.

I want to replicate real life tactics but am struggling to find articles on the internet. For example I’m trying to find how West Ham play under Moyes this season and haven’t really found anything. Does anyone know any links or websites that are useful in finding out how teams play?

Exactly! That's what I was trying to say in my comment. It's just a way of game telling you that your striker missed. So if it happens too often then there are two solutions:

1) get better players

2) get back to tactical drawing board

 

 

Ok so I can deal with the fact that it’s a missed shot but just think that is they are trying to replicate a simulation based on real football, teams don’t hit the woodwork that often. 
 

I am interested in the comment about 3D not being reliable and learning how to analyse tactics with data. Are there any guides or articles to look at how to understand this stuff better? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

I hate to be that guy because I love this game but does anyone else think that shots hit the woodwork way too often? Surely can’t be my tactics. Also the number of VAR goals disallowed seems more than the opposition get. Maybe it is my tactics but would like to hear other people’s experiences. 

[Game processing speed is slowing down]

I'm currently in my 4th season and noticed that the processing between dates is now really slow. I have adjusted the detail level as well as removing leagues. The computer performance is 4 1/2 stars and the estimated speed is 3 1/2 stars but still so slow. Is this happening because the file gets bigger as I play more seasons?

Yeah that's a good point. I look at the opposition report before every game to see where they score and concede goals and then adjust accordingly.

I used to design two or three tactics for a season and never change anything before going into a game. 

Now I am constantly tweaking before and during a game. Is this a bad thing? Does it upset the flow of the team? 

For example, if my tactics plays narrow and I notice the opposition are defending narrow, I will change attacking width to wide. 

I'm in my second season and I've noticed that I don't get the partnership lines for any players lol. Is this because I'm rotating and changing tactics all the time?
