[Several questions about older Football Manager versions]

1. I've read it on google when searching how achievements works. I haven't experienced it myself, though, so don't take it for 100% true, but I thought it was plausible, because what sense would the achievements make if you edit yourself a superteam?

3. Actually, for a lot of older versions, it isn't. It still works for FM 2015, FM 2016, FM 2018 and FM 2019. That's why I opened this thread, because this randomness is weird. If the game store was shut down for ALL past versions, it would have been one thing, but it isn't. So why would it be shut down for FM 2014 or FM 2017 but no for FM 2015 or 2016?

If some member of the SI team could weigh in, it would be helpful.

Hi, I'm someone who recently got into Football Manager and I liked it so much that I've bought also the older versions still available at retailers. I have not been able to find a forum dedicated to older FMs, so I created this thread in the general FM forum (the mods can move this if there is a specific forum for older FMs and I missed it).

That being said, I have several questions about two previous versions, FM 2013 and FM 2014, and a more general one about all older versions.

1. In FM 2013 steam achievements remain unlocked, even though I don't play offline. I know that in later versions, the achievements don't activate if you use the in-game editor, but FM 2013 does not have such. Is there any other particular reason why achievements would stay locked?

2. In FM 2013 and FM 2014, the in-game store is unavailable. I get an error message which says "Unable to connect. Error code 1006". Is that because the store for these versions might have been discontinued or is it a bug?

3. I know that once a new FM comes out, the previous one becomes unavailable for purchase on steam (although are still available on retail). But I would like to know whether the in-game store of the older versions still works and whether you can buy the in-game editor, achievements and so on? I notice that in FM 2015 and later versions, the in-game store seems to work (no error message like in 2013 and 2014), but I haven't tested the purchase yet and I would like to know if it is still functional before I do.
