  1. At that price I would find it hard to say no, he is a classy player and his set-piece skills would certainly add to the team again!
  2. Just started my Newcastle career with John Carver stepping down from caretaker in mid-October with the team struggling down in 16th position. Came in during the international break so I had some time to get the team set-up for an opening match at home to QPR with my 4-1-2-1-2 formation or 4-4-2 Diamond Narrow as FM15 likes to call it. Had a great 2-0 win against QPR before tight defeats away in the league to Spurs 2-1 which was gutting having led 1-0 for the majority of the match we lost two late goals. After that we were knocked out of the Carling Cup 1-0 at home to Manchester United where we put up a really good battle throughout the match. Another frustrating home draw to Everton followed having led 2-0 we threw away the lead with 15 minutes to go to finish 2-2. However, the great turn around has happened in the month of November going unbeaten with some great results and entertaining football with Perez and Cisse firing. Everton (H) - 2-2 Draw Burnley (H) - 6:3 Win Swansea (A) - 3:1 Win Leicester (H) - 2:1 Win A great month with some easy fixtures for sure but it has propelled us up to 9th in the Division. Should be able to maintain that and achieve the mid-table finish before strengthening in the Summer. Looking to bring in Danny Ings if possible and praying that Inter choose not to pay the future fee for Davide Santon.
  3. I used to be a keeper but over the past couple of FM instalments I have begun shifting to a seller. The offers for some of my young talent are impossible to refuse on FM15. Receieved bids for De Sciglio and El Sharaarawy in the region for £35 million for each player and with the amount of talent now available for cheaper it is just business sense to move people on.
  4. I had this issue before, but it is avoidable if you get your tactics right in my opinion. Especially against teams that score the majority of their goals from crosses in wide areas, I have been using two holding midfielder with set instructions to close and mark tighter the opposition wide men. This prevents them from getting effective crosses into the area I have been finding.
  5. Been playing around for a while but I have started my career save now and it has started superbly! I started off with no experience and no badges and around November 2014 I managed to get a job working as manager of SR Colmar in the French National League. The team were sitting in 15th (Relegation Zone) with the expectation of battling against the drop. I have set the team up every week in a 4-1-2-1-2 with a variation of either controlling or defensive. When I play against the top teams I have been playing a 4-2-1-1-2 with the 2DM's essentially man-marking key players in the opposition. Essentially the response has been brilliant: Played: 15 Won: 11 Drawn: 2 Lost: 3 The lads are now up to 8th in the division with another 8 games to play. I finally feel that I have got to grips with FM15 with the team defending like absolute bears!
