I don't I'm afraid which is more to do with me technologically incapable. Any advice on how I can get this and I'll try my best.
I have also noted that the match odds seem to effect the ratings.
I might be expected to beat the team, 1/6, 1/10, 1/20 for example but that doesn't reflect it's an early round cup game where my team are 17 and 18 year old reserve players with 1,2,3 star ratings.

Can someone give me a clue how they work.
I was recently 4-0 up in a PL game at half time. My average rating was 8.3.
As soon the 2nd half kicks off it drops straight away to 7.1. I'm not sure what happened in that 1 second period.
The opposition score and it's down to 6.2. I score and its up to 7.3.
They score again in the 93rd minute and it's down to 6.4 with numerous players receiving 5s and 6s despite winning 5-2.
It seems as though the game separates the 1st and 2nd half which is nonsense. I have had games where I'm 3-0 up at half time and win 3-0 and players average is 6.9 then games where I'm 0-0 at half time but win 3-0 and the average is 8.3.
It's got to the point where I only want to score 2nd half as it gives better final ratings which is daft.
This is especially so given player ratings are linked to how good or bad a player turns out to be.

Absolutely agree.
I play 2 ball winning midfielders. Both 5* rating. I can win everything in a season and I really struggle to get the ratings over a season to be 7 or more.
You say this is factored in but it's not. If they rate less than 7 there star rating will drop. I have to have them taking penalties just to keep them up.
Another rating issue I raised a year ago still hasn't been rectified.
Why do player ratings after half time automatically drop / increase?
For example. I'm 3-0 up at half time. My players are all rating well with an average of 7.9. The opposition average 5.9. The second half kicks off and within seconds I average 7.1 and the opposition 6.7. It's total nonsense.
If the game finishes 3-0 my average rating and therefore my player ratings can be worse than the opposition.
It's got to the point where I'd rather score no goals in the first half and all of them in the second as it gives better ratings despite the result being the same.
