  1. I’m having trouble with a group of my players, who have suddenly decided at the last minute that I haven’t fulfilled a promise to play enough youth players. Throughout the season I made a concerted effort to do this, and this was reflected in the promise bar looking like the first mage (26/05/2030) for the entire season – ranging between pleased and delighted, always green and never once red or orange. I have used this promise bar to make sure I was meeting the expectations of the players, and took the continued and constant green, positive feedback as encouragement that I was on course to achieve the promise. Then suddenly, on the final day of the promise (27/05/2030), after all games have been played (the last game was 25/05/2030) and the season is over, all of the players suddenly completely change their mind and decide that I have not met promises – as seen in the second image. This then progresses to failure the following day, see third image. It's now too late for me to rectify this issue as all games have been played, and the players are all publicly unhappy at me ‘failing’ to meet the promise. There’s also no option for me to speak to them about this and ask what has changed or how this can be resolved. I don’t really know how I can fix this or what I’ve done. I made a concerted effort to give teenagers a chance in the first team, and the game has been telling me throughout the season (as displayed in the first image) that I’ve been doing a good job of giving youth a chance. The only option I can think of is to load an earlier save and play even more youth players, but I don’t really want to do this. My question is: Is this a glitch or is there anything I can do about this?
  2. Hey all, I'm having issues with the max amount of wages I can offer a potential new signing. My issue is that I'm trying to buy a much needed DM for £2.1m, for my club Bohemians Prague. This player is also being pursued by a larger club (PSV), so I'd like to offer the player a high wage of approx. £15-20k per week in order to entice him to us. I should be able to afford this, because I've just sold a player for £7m. However, despite offering a playing time of star player, the most I can offer a star player is £11k per week. This appears to be because the "advised maximum basic wage" for our club (seen in the wages summary of FM23's finances section) is £11k, and this limits the max wage you can offer players. My club's finances are as follows. Overall Balance: £7.79M Transfer Budget: £3.24M Wage Budget: £256k per week (current spend is £133k) This is with all transfer/wage budget slider all the way across to the side of wages, it can't be moved any further. I've also tried moving the slider to all possible positions, but the most I can ever offer a star player is £11k per week. I've asked the board for an increased wage budget in a vain attempt to rectify the issues, but they predictably rejected that. I've previously been able to offer wages of £15-20k per week in past seasons, and I do have a player already on £15k. I'm a bit stumped, and I don't know how to rectify this issue. I'd really like to sign this player, but due to only being able to offer a base wage of £11k, the financial package I'm offering isn't going to be enough to persuade him to come to us instead of a bigger club that are probably also offering a higher base wage than £11k. That's even with offering the wage increase after 5 games clause, bonuses (goals, assist bonuses, combined goal and assist bonus, competition bonuses, etc, etc), release clauses, and so on. It does seem a bit silly that when I'm only using half of my wage budget (with £120k per week spare), the most I can offer a star player is £11k per week. What I'd like to know is, given the information/situation above, how can I increase my "advised maximum basic wage"?Could any kind souls offer me advice on how I might achieve this?
  3. I keep getting this error message seen in the title of the post as soon as I boot the game up. I'm only using about 3GB out of my 8GB, and I'm using only around 70% of available memory as per task manager when this comes up, so I'm not really clear what's occurring. As I say, it happens within seconds of me booting the game up so I'm not really sure what I can do here. Any suggestions?
