  1. So, my hobby is: if I'm a dirty rich club I pick some random teams from lower divisions and pump them a tons of money to see what they can do with it. And thats how I found the Kidderminster Harriers and their interesting logo. I laughted hard because I didnt want to belive their logo is like a Slayer cover. Sadly, it really isnt only in the game. Still funny, so I thought I share with you guys. Recommended team for Slayer fans. And now I'm in trouble: I should be their oligarch or pump the good old Hereford with money?

The 5 sub change was put into the rules AFTER the final update to FM22. So it's not present in the game. What @fc.cadoniis referring to is that all new rules after the final update will be updated in a future game if there is one (there has been no announcements of a new FM yet).

They also changed how DYR is working now compared to release, but I haven't heard much about how it works now, as I don't look at the numbers behind when I play.

I watched Zealands latest video about this. He wasnt satisfied at all. Just like the commenters.

EPL this season has not followed the 5 subs rule, next season; yes (22/23). So, 5 subs rule will be for FM23.

So, you mean if i want 5 subs i have to buy the next game because it wont be updated? I only bought fm22 because they promised me dinamic youth rating. Before this I bought the game every year but now i'm quiet angry because there is no dinamic youth rating, still brasilian (and south american - african) domination...

I've had luck before by offering Star Player and heap of bonuses.

Wasn't really luck, as he broke my wage structure, ended up showing as inconsistent, dreads big matches & injury prone 😂 lesson learnt

When We were a small club, sometimes i got really exited to sign some players, then when they came they wasnt really that good or just played like drunk old grandpas. I just watched their wage demand, our salery capacity, and cried. Much.

It happens in FM21 as well from time to time.

I view it as one step beyond the outright refusal to discuss terms. It's a "I'm not really interested, but maybe if you blow me out of the water with an offer".

I've never managed to sign anyone in these cases where they won't make counter-offers....but I wonder if you made a crazy offer (Star Player, big pay raise, stepping stone etc. etc.) it might be possible?

I have good news for you, I did. I promised this low quality kid a star player status (not big payrise, I dont like to spend money), and a lot of stuffs. Luckily he signed an 5 year contract, so now he has the time to cry like a baby, and when it will be important, he will be happy again :)

  6. At the player's bio, on the information part there is the home grown status, but the "club trained at" part for some reason counts double. It wont be a problem, 'cause both says need 1095 days, but the problem it counts differently. So, how is it possible that I trained a player 650 days 15-21 HG, but only just 4 days 0-21 HG? And its not just only one player but all of them.

Any player with that many upfront demands, I don't even waste my time. But I always pre-screen by either inquiring the agent or use the scouting screen for player interest first. Players that are that demanding during preliminary negotiations are just going to be a constant pain in the seat if they actually sign.

Yeah but agent are totally useless in fm 22. Before at least they could say what their players want. Now they dont even know...

    1. High adaptability helps with languages. Might be a coded line that Japanese is one of the hardest language in the world so it might take longer to learn (but I doubt this one is implemented to FM).

    2. Is he a real-life staff member or a newgen? Some newgen scouts known to be bugged (specifically those, who have 0 country scouting knowledge of their own nationality). For those I can imagine they will not have capability to learn the language neither. If you post a screenshot of his staff/attributes/scouting knowledge tab, it can be verified.

    3. The J-League is not playable in the base game, sending a scout there on an assigment is pretty pointless as the scout will not be able to "watch" any match (maybe the WC/Asia qualifiers for the Japan team few times a year). Hence not gaining knowledge/maybe not gaining language knowledge neither? The guy who is there for 3 years, does he have 100% Japanese scouting knowledge or a few % - gained only from the national team matches?

    4. As previously mentioned, set the assignment to "Until finished" and do not leave it at "On-going".

The language and adaptability is only helping to gain % knowledge in the scouted country faster and not to generate more reports within the given time as far as I know. Based on this I expect for a Hungarian scout with 100% Germany country knowledge with basic German language skills will generate the same report within the same time period as a 100% Germany knowledge, fluent German speaking scout from Germany if all their key attributes (professionalism, determination, JPA/JPP, suriprisingly discipline) are the same.

    See my reply above

  9. So, I heard the best way to scout if you send a scout to a country what's language is spoken by him. But I can't find any useable guy who can speak japanese for example. I send one to Japan, he is there since 3 years and still can't speak basic japan. So, is there any way for a scout to learn languages, or he just live there without the capability to learn at least some words?
