  1. Hi guys, basically i created this overload tactic with Man U and its been working decently (its the year 2030 and PL is insane). With this tactic, my aim is to overload the right flank (with my SV, WM and WB) while my attacker on the left( a WM as well) will be my main goal scorer. The reason I am using WM instead of other roles is because i simply love how customisable they are. My WM on the right has PIs cross more often, shoot less often and press more often (Which is a TI given to all my players on the left flank as i want them to press frequently and win the ball to start counter attacks). My WM on the left has PIs, pass shorter, stay wider, cut inside with ball and shoot more often, which imo reflect his role as the teams main goal threat. The AM position is something I struggled a lot with. I want my player in the AM position to be the one that plays the killer ball as play is switched between flanks. Ive experimented with roles like TQ and AM(A) and even AP(A), but ive found that these roles tend to move further up the pitch into goal scoring positions. Its by no means a bad thing, but this is not something I am looking to achieve and my players who can play as AMs all have terrible finishing, which often leads to lots of hair pulling and table banging. Currently Ive settled on a simple AM(S) with the PIs Take more risks, roam from position and shoot less often, and ive seen some improvements, though my AM can be fairly inconsistent so Im sure theres room for improvenment. In my DM position im using a DLP(DE) and, a SV(S), with the PI move into channels as i want him to drift out wide to better create an overload, while my DLP will dictate play and recycle possession. Playing 2 Dms also (IMO) gives AM more space to operate in compared to 2 CMs, and im q satisified with their performances atm. Im using a FB(a) on my left flank to stretch the opposition defence with the PI run wide with ball to allow my WM to cut in and score, while the WB(s) on the right is used to again, create overloads and acts as a passing option out wide. RN the two things that confound me the most are 1. my volatile AM, and 2. a suitable attacking width. I cannot decide is it better to use a wider attacking width as (IMO) this will stretch the opposition defence even more, allowing more space for my players to operate in (especially my WM who is expected to cut in and score), or use a narrow attacking width as this (again IMO), will strengthen overloads as wide players are more close at hand for better build up. The issue with attacking width is something ive struggled with since i first started my FM journey, and i really do appreciate inputs and suggestions
