  1. I think a next step for me is to update the playing time agreed, even if it means upgrading some player up by two playing time tiers so its easier to work out and follow like i said before i have world class players on agreed low play time but play almost all the time and they are happy with that but if i dropped them down to the agreed they would ask for that to be increased

Looks like you're under your wage budget, which is always good @PandaIsland.

I don't know your team at all but a few things stand out to me. Firstly you have, according to the sheet, 13 players you consider regular starters. Might need some tweaking there in the post-season. Really identifying who are your key players and who are you regular starters and move from there. Is there any scope for any of them to move from one category to another? In the squad player bracket you have Rocha and Jordi who are on quite high wages for that particular group. Do you need them? Or is there any in the regular group that could step down as squad players and fit into the 159k budget?

Only you know your squad but I'd say if you have any squad players that are on 200k+ then I'd start making a plan of how are you going to address this? Move on and get some young squad players who can then start moving up as the grow their ability? I noticed you didn't update the youth sections so hard to say if you have scope to get some younger players in on prospect contracts.

    Hopefully that all makes sense?

On the new season my wage budget is 5.7m pw and im spending 5.3 but im currently in hundreds of millions of debt after winning 12 league titles and 30+ cups. The agreed playing time I have 4 star players, 1 important 2 reg, 8 impact sub, and 3 squad, the problem is example fayet is down as impact sub but in reality he plays every single game possible and is world class so i tried to base it on games played rather than contract play time

    far as jordi and rocha

Jordi is actually played 20 odd starting games last season i just didnt want to mess the excel up adding more players to a category BUT with rocha last season he only started 8 games reality is he is an 23 year old with trait "good player for most prem sides" certainly overpaid but got him from inter for 52m his pot did drop but he is my 2nd choice fullback on each side now

Far as youth prospects playing rles in the first team only two, onur tan 19 year old fullback on 54k and academy guy rundstrom who I forcefully played him every match that i cou ld as i needed better home grown, hes on 140k. Looking at the dev centre in the pot first team players list there is just one guy on 17kpw

    Hi All,

I just wanted to share a recent Wage Structure Excel I created for those that are interested.

    image.thumb.png.c3685fe51925884c95e117e50b5ee31c.png

As you can see I've populated with Liverpool players and budget as an example. The yellow boxes is what I populate first (just copy what FM says for total wage budget allowed and then the youth categories I just copy what we are spending on those player types) and after that I input the players and their current wages which will then give me an overview of our wage structure at the club. Don't worry, I've locked boxes you can't edit so you shouldn't be able to "ruin" any of the formulas in the sheet.

All the values are based on that you have 4 Key/Important players, 7 regular starters and 10 squad players. I've left a few blanks here and there if you want to move players around at your own leisure but the Max Wage values are based on those numbers.

On the top right you'll see how much your Youth Budget is (10% of allowed wage budget) and what you're currently spending according to the values you put in.

On the far left you have your current spending for each player type category, which will flag red if you're overspending according to the calculations. Each category is given 30% (as you can see at the top where it says Max Wage Per Player Type)

After each player wage you'll get a recommended max wage per player in that type. Hence why Salah, Alisson and Henderson are flagging red as they are currently above that value. However the group as a whole is green so you might want to consider that element as well.

The grey categories after that are a bit extra for those that REALLY want to micromanage and have a play as you pay wage structure system. As you can see, there is a suggested max wage, max app fee and also a max bonus (clean sheet, goals, assists) suggestion for the player type in those categories. I just added as a bit of fun to see what that looks like and I usually just play the game using the Max Wage rather then pay as you play.

Hopefully you all find it useful :)  Happy to answer any questions anyone has.

You have one of the best teams in the world, with probably best players in the world. The best coaches, facilities, and everything else.

So your players, 15/16/17 year old are compared to the best players in the world. So your youth are compared to the likes of mbappe, haaland, lewandowski, de bruyne, van dijk, kroos, modric.

These youth players are 3 or 3.5 star potential players (from the screenshots uploaded)

For example in Liverpool, Milner, Origi, Minamino were 3 star players. So your players have the potential to be as good as these players.

So if you expect wonderkids each year, you probably don't know that there's not a team in the world who has superb intakes each year.

Remember that the pool is the whole world, you have bought most tickets and you have the best chance for best players but it's not guaranteed that you'll get world beaters. Brazil will produce certain number of good youngsters, Argentina, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, Italy. It's not possible to have the best or even all the good players each year.

I also believe that certain level of coaching/facilities will give you AT LEAST decent rotation/fringe players (easiest would be to check this in in-game editor).

My method is to keep all players from intake, and wait till 20/21 for the 'ultimate' coaching report with no potential stars hidden.

when you put it into pespective of IRL players it explains it better even more so with the liverpool with origi etc.

Its an interesting one I manage crystal palace and I'm in year 2040 now and its only the last 3/4 seasons where I've had some decent regens come through prior to that I had one come through who had potential to be a top player and ended becoming a 4 1/2 star. I don't know weather someone can confirm this but my theory is once you've upgraded your facilities it takes a while for the players to come through the pipeline of your academy.

Hopefully I can develop some of these decent youngsters into first team ready squad players however I'm seeing some of them when they go out on loan and get game time there PA star rating wise has dropped dramatically from 4-5 star to 2 1/2 3 yellow star so its definatly a tricky thing to grasp.

Yes, the changes take a long time to really make a tangible difference. Things like changing your Head of Youth Development alone can take years to have an impact. I'm not talking 2-3 years either.

its weird you say that because there is one youngster who wasnt in the orginal screenshot not sure were he came from maybe he was stuck in the u18 but i got a 19 year old winger called rundstrom from sweeden gave him 2 games in the league and 1 in champions league before loaning him out to nottm forrest for half a season.

Also a change I made was ask for a affilate club to increase the scouting range for the youth intake a team in Uruguay

I've only included players I sold while young and realising there was no long term position to put them in and not including previous generations who I kept around and sold as they were pushing into their 30's or had been sold in the years before. Also didn't include anyone I sold for less than £25m.

Ultimately you have to give players the time to grow. You have to give them exposure to appropriate challenge through loans/rotation.

so your saying i just need to geet rid of my foreign players and just play the players that are not good enough

  7. Context I'm Everton we have won 8 league titles in the last 10 years and won 2 champions league titles with 6 finals lost

    My current facilities are

    training: State of art

    Youth: State of the art

    Youth recruitment: Excellent youth

    Junior coaching: Exceptional

In the u21 staff we have 11 coaches and in the u18 we have 14 coaches.

My HOYD has 17 judge abbility and 18 judge potentioal, and 20 working with youngsters, hes personality professional, high rep likes 4-2-3-1 gegen attacking press more often age 68

The best youthb players ive had come through are around 2 to 2.5 stars in their early prime 20-23 and even then thats only 1-2 every couple of years

Thanks for the information @Cloud9, I'm in 2035, so I've had to scout around. I've picked off some players from Cardiff and Coventry who got relegated, found some on the transfer list for less than £1mil, brought in 4 loans and the rest I packed out with Free Transfers.

I'm 2 games into the season, drew with Man Utd 1-1 and beat Brentford 9-0, couldn't have asked for a better start!

@Johnny Ace I'll have a read of that thread :D

great start. biggest thing is keep that morale as high as you can throughtouyt the whole season

isn't it obvious? you could put a diagonal line over the pitch and two sides practically mirror...

there are situations where a player won't be in his designated position such as during set pieces then there is the fact that during half time you swap sides which will account for most of it

    6 hours ago, Blah_1123 said:

Is it because of swapping sides at half time? I would've thought the game accounted for that and just showed it so the bottom goal was always your teams goal but maybe not.

like blah said when i relooked at it. its just first and 2nd half it is quite obv when you think about it.  because if they shown it on the same side for both half you wouldn't be able to read the graph

unreleated i said he is set to wing back defend but in every game he plays he gets all the way up to the other goal he has no player traits

  11. Save context (not relevant) I joined Liverpool half way through 2035 were they found them self 12th and despite better results finished 12th. on the new season the team needed a full rebuild I'm talking, 1gk, 1rb, 4cb,2lb,4cm etc. this is due to the club relying on the likes of dias (38) Ryan nori (34) lotkoa (34) ugarte (35) who are all considering important players also Harvey Elliot (33, 250k a week) szlobslai yeah that guy (35) after spending 116m I have a decent squad i should be aiming for top half which is what the board wants

(More unneeded context) After a bad start of the season i went with a ASS man recommended tactic, formation and duties and roles played city and won 3-1 amazing but then the next game i lost 2-0 with 2 shots in 95 mins with 0 on target (this is were i looked at the data hub to see what happend in these two games)

    (Main Point)

One of the positives analysis of the data hub of the two games mention above (Chelsea and city) one went well wont went awful. I see "regained possession" and as you can see the player Luis parra won back possession more than any other player but he's won the ball from his main position right back area and slightly ahead but he's won loads of possession on the left wing but he is set to wing back def so why and how is he getting possession up there? and what counts as a regain possession is this when he tackles and gets it back, it is when  the other boot the ball up the pitch and we gain it back what makes a player or even Luis parra so good at winning the ball back yes he has 15 tackling but he only has 11 off the ball and 13 marking

  12. How can i increase my HOYD reputation, they already have a continental pro licence and are rated two stars, his attributes are out of this world. He can be one of the best HOYD,coach, ass man, managers in the world.

How can i increase the scouting knowledge of a HOYD if they have only been at my club in italy, how can i get him to learn other countries.

almost all of his attributes are 16-18

  13. Although my save orginally started with everton after being sacked after 2 seasons I moved to watford in the championship which i finished in 9th. Then I finished 3rd loosing the play of final and in my 3rd  season with watford early december just fighting for a playoff spot. I have a team that should be in the top 3 of the championship easily and far as my xg table so far this season i have 6 more goals than expected and 2 more points
