That one is the same spec in terms of parts as the one I linked at £500 - it's just more expensive because it's more compact and has a touchscreen.  EDIT: It's also Windows 10 S, so you'll also have to take it out of S mode before you can install Steam and FM.

However, if you don't mind skipping the ability to go and collect the item today, this is an excellent deal and within your price range: https://www.very.co.uk/hp-pavilion-15-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-gtx-1650-8gb-ram-256-ssd-15-ec1001na/1600498417.prd

It is better than all the other options so far, so I would suggest the 2 working day delivery time is worth the sacrifice.

Brilliant thank you for you're help I'll go for that one

If you want one you can pick up today, I'd go for this: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/hp-15s-eq1510sa-15-6-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-256-gb-ssd-silver-10207935-pdt.html

It doesn't have the dedicated graphics card, but the CPU is excellent.

The only gaming laptop I can see in stock within the price range has a weaker CPU, but is still what I'd call ok: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-15-6-gaming-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205931-pdt.html

    Nope, avoid that,

Which one were you specifically looking at?  I'm sure there'll be something around which is equivalent.

https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-an515-54-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205925-pdt.html      that's the 1 I was looking at but it's unavailable, that is the maximum I'd be looking to spend really and ideally would want to pick it up today 😅 itching to get playing , thanks for all you're help !what about this 1 ?https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-flex-5-14-2-in-1-laptop-amd-ryzen-5-256-gb-ssd-grey-10208022-pdt.html

The one you've linked would be better for overall gaming due to the dedicated graphics card, which the HP I've linked does not have.

However, in terms of CPU power the Ryzen 5 4500U scores a little bit higher in benchmark tests than the i5-9300H does, so you will likely see slightly faster processing performance between matches on the HP, but you may need to dial down the graphics settings a little.

As an overall package, the Acer is definitely stronger than the HP though, purely due to the dedicated graphics card.

Hi I'm still looking they didn't have the one I was after in stock or available for delivery! Is this one any good for fm21 ? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/8693512

Hi, honestly just saying Nitro 5 or Aspire 5 doesn't help much as those names cover a wide range of laptops with different specs, so unless you provide links it's hard to say whether you're getting value for money or not.

This one is an excellent deal and well within your budget: https://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=1E6Z9EA&opt=ABU&sel=NTB

Excellent processor.  Integrated graphics, but strong enough to handle FM's 3d graphics at medium settings at least.  The main downsides would be 14" screen (possibly not a downside for you) and the relatively small storage of 256GB, but if you're not downloading huge amounts of games that will likely not particularly be an issue for you.

Hi thanks for getting back to me is the one you put up there better than this one?https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-an515-54-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205925-pdt.html
