Related question is how much you should avoid inconsistent young players (16, 17, 18) vs how much can you correct inconsistency? I've read that you can improve consistency, but never seem to succeed in fixing that when actually playing.

Can you use the club's TAM as well, I can't seem to figure out how to use that resource?

Same issue for me, very frustrating, kind of takes the fun out of the game when your home league seems impossible to play.
