It seems that there is no way to view all the players in your squad that have the ability/proficiency to play a certain spot. They're not automatically added to the squad planner for a position if they're say "competent" at a position. Or at the very least it's unclear when/why players are added by default.
Additionally, when you try to add them to various positions manually from the Reports -> Add To Squad Planner, you can only do it for positions that match your tactics.
So if I'm trying to work out what kind of tactical changes I might want to make by changing positions, I have no idea which players can play which positions without going to them individually and adding them to the squad planner for a theoretical tactic.
An example of a time this is tough is when you're getting acquainted with your team, and aren't sure what tactic you want to employ, you have no way of looking at one screen that shows your players in all potential positions they can play and gives you an idea of the depth and possibilities you might have.
