  1. Thinking Serdar Dursun (Darmstadt 98) might deserve an upgrade after last seasons performance. 4th best goal scorer in the 2. Bundesliga in 19/20 and by far Darmstadt's successful striker with 16 goals (one penalty) [Tobias Kempe 7 (two penalties) and Dario Dumic 4]. Felix Platte, in comparison, whose stats do not differ too much from Dursun's, only managed to score a single goal (obviously also because Dursun usually started, but again, the reason for that is his consistently good performance), yet Dursun doesn't really stand out; his value for Darmstadt IRL isn't reflected in the game as much as it should be imo.

  2. Been looking at some 2019/20 stats for Augsburg players in terms of tackles and passing on https://www.whoscored.com/Teams/1730/Archive/Germany-Augsburg

Tackles: The two strongest players in that area were Gruezo (2.5 per game) and Framberger (2.4 p.g.). Their respective stats in tackling are Gruezo 15 and Framberger 13. I would advocate for Framberger getting an improvement of two points in tackling and perhaps Gruezo getting an improvement of one point. I've made a few comparisons to other teams and a number of 2.5 is indeed rather high.

Passing: Looking at the success rate, the best Augsburg player last season was actually Marek Suchy with 84.3%, yet he is rated 9 in passing. Deserves quite the upgrade in passing. Oxford (defender as well) on the other sits at 65.6%, yet is rated 13 in passing. (downgrade?). Second best is Gruezo (82.6), third best Uduokhai (80.8) with a rating of 15 and 13. This seems fairly reasonable, although you could argue that Uduokhai might deserve a 14 rather than a 13. Biggest gripe would be Suchy though.
Note that https://www.fcaugsburg.de/de/article/die-saison-2019-20-in-zahlen-die-beste-passquote-11705 is giving slightly different numbers, with Gruezo, Suchy and Uduokhai still being the top three though. Uduokhai in general deserves quite the upgrade after 2019/20 and early 2020/21; incredibly consistent and most recently selected for Germany's national squad.

I appreciate your work and effort. It's not an easy task and I know you all are doing your best.

On the other hand, I couldn't stop myself from extending the analysis to whole division :)

According to my study, only %45 of the selected players have been revised and positioning distorts the results a bit. If we exclude positioning changes, the figure will be much lower. By only including players with age of 21 or older to eliminate possible random attribute allocations, the reliability of the outcome seemed pretty high to me.

I enjoyed doing this and will try to update with full release. I am sure the outcome will be much better and well distributed among teams (see Dortmund and Hertha). I hope you can spend some time on young players as well.

If I can spare more time, I'll try to look players individually to make suggessions.

This is seriously beautiful, I love it! Prime example of the passion you guys have for the game. Hoping for some changes in the final version, especially for Augsburg, Mainz and Union players. Outstanding job on Dortmund and Hertha btw! Fingers crossed for similar numbers for all the Bundesliga teams later on.

Edit: Although I have given my take on some Augsburg players earlier, if it at all helps I can go a little more in-depths and point out Augsburg players that, based on last years performance deserve an upgrade/a downgrade/are rated pretty accurately as this is German team I have been constantly watching for quite some time. Don't want to force it on you of course, but if it helps I'd be glad to.

Some great feedback, I have taken this on board and you wil see this reflected. We did leave a few things until late and made some amendments in the past 1-2 weeks that didn't show up yet (If we had known.... haha)

Because he has already been rated and valued accordingly. I know Angelino already from his days in Holland and he looks fine - we don't generally change a lot if he just comes from a different league, I will go over him this evening and there might be some really minor changes but not much.

Cheers! Really appreciate you guys taking feedback into account.

I've made comparison between FM20 and FM21 stats for Augsburg players that were part of their squad in both games and came to the conclusion that, so far, only Framberger, Danso, Pedersen and, in one stat, Richter have been adjusted, so I'm assuming this is simply something your team hasn't gotten to yet; looking forward to the final attributes, this is always one of the most exciting things about a new game for me personally, especially if someone just played their season of a lifetime.

Keep up the great work, it's very much appreciated.

@Fire_03Are the updated ratings for VfB Stuttgart players not yet in this Beta version like with Bayern or does litarally no player get changes and no additional youngstars get fleshed out ratings?

I can't believe what I'm seeing there now if thats the final cut.

I'm with you on this one. I've noticed the same thing about FC Augsburg and made a few suggestions, but it looks like many - if not all Bundesliga teams -  mostly have their FM20 ratings at this point.

  6. FC Augsburg:
    - Florian Niederlechner: Easily Augsburg's top scorer last season (13 goals AND 6 assists; both being the most respectively, second best being Philipp Max with 8 goals and third being Ruben Vargas with 6), yet his rating seems to not have been changed at all; deserves a way better rating considering 2019/20 in my opinion.

    - Tomas Koubek: Many, many errors last season, especially in aerial situations, yet his rating is still at 16 which is baffling to me; in fact none of his stats have been changed so far.

    - Rafal Gikiewicz: The new number one GK for Augsburg, outperforming Koubek IRL by quite a lot, in a lot of areas he is rated worse than Koubek though. Seems a bit odd after last season and early 2020/21.

    - Reece Oxford/Felix Uduokhai: Ratings are very similar. However, Uduokhai has most recently been selected for Germany's national team due to his overall very convincing performance throughout 2019/20, while Oxford mainly sat on the bench. According to https://www.transfermarkt.de/felix-uduokhai/profil/spieler/278343 Uduokhai was transferred to Augsburg from Wolfsburg for 7 Mio€ with his value being around 10 Mio € at the moment. In-game he is valued at 1.3 Mio€ and there is no information about his move from Wolfsburg to Augsburg in the transfer history.

    - Iago: Like someone already pointed out earlier in a chart, Iago has, so far, been the fastest Augsburg player this season. While at 14, his pace isn't necessarily bad, I feel like a point or two more would be justified. André Hahn, Daniel Caligiuri, Jeffrey Gouweleeuw and Raphael Framberger, for example, are rated 16 in pace. While all of them are incredibly fast players, this also applies for Iago.

    - Daniel Caligiuri: Rated 10 in both corners and free kicks, while already having provided assists from both corners and free kicks this season as well as on multiple occasions in the past for Schalke seems a bit odd to me. He is also not part of Augsburg's transfer history, alongside Felix Uduokhai and Tobias Strobl, even though all of them were signed this season.

    - Noah-Joel Sarenren-Bazee: Aside from pace and acceleration, his attributes are rather dreadful. After his injury last season he has, on multiple occasion, proven to be a very valuable asset to the team; his stats don't quite do him justice.

These are my takes on the player rating of FC Augsburg. I've noticed that quite a lot of players are completely unchanged, so I am uncertain if that might be something that just hasn't been looked into yet. Anyways, thanks for taking this into consideration; looking forward to playing the final version of FM21!
