  1. Hi all, After much thought, I’ve decided to go ahead and purchase this laptop (link below), as it is a little cheaper and within my budget for FM. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-an515-54-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205925-pdt.html Thank you all for your help, especially @kevhamster. I would have no clue what laptop to purchase if it wasn’t for your help. Looking forward to playing FM soon! Many thanks, Junaid
  2. That’s great, thanks Kev! Do you think it is worth spending the extra £50 on that laptop then instead of purchasing the first one or does it not really matter?
  3. Hi all, Looking to purchase this laptop (link below) in a couple of days purely just for playing Football Manager. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-an515-54-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205925-pdt.html I was just wondering if it’s worth spending an extra £50 to purchase one of these laptops instead (links below)? Will I get better performance (CPU, processing speed and RAM) and better graphics (3D) from either of these? Furthermore, will either of these laptops last me longer so I won’t need to upgrade in
  4. Hi all, Which laptop would you recommend for Football Manager? The Lenovo one has a better CPU, however the Acer Nitro 5 has better graphics. They are both a similar price, so I’d just like to know which one would be best for playing FM at the max settings (10 leagues, large player database and 3D). https://www.box.co.uk/81LK0039UK-Lenovo-IdeaPad-Gaming-L340-15_2934443.html https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-an515-54-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205925-pdt.html Many thanks.
  5. Brilliant, thanks for your help Kev! I think I’ll go ahead and purchase that one! Really looking forward to playing FM!
  6. Thanks Kev! I’m just trying to determine which would be the best laptop to purchase in my price range before purchasing (I am very indecisive). I like the look of the Huawei Matebook’s, however I’m currently swaying towards this (link below) even if it is a little bit more expensive. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-an515-54-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205925-pdt.html I’m only going to be playing Football Manager on it really, so I’d like it to run FM at the highest settings, so a high number of leagues (5-8) wit
  7. And also your thoughts on this: HUAWEI MateBook D 15 - 15.6 Inch Laptop with FullView 1080P FHD Ultrabook PC (Intel Core i5-10210U, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Windows 10 Pro, Multi-screen Collaboration, Fingerprint Reader), Grey https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08BGK8Y9Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_dlC_GcOTFbXMQF7ZJ
  8. Hello all, Sorry, it’s me again! I’m not very tech savvy, otherwise I wouldn’t be asking all these questions🤣However, I’ve just been scrolling through Amazon and I’ve seen that that they have a few early Black Friday deals on a couple of different laptops. Was just wondering what you guys think of the Huwai Matebook (link below) for playing Football Manager? HUAWEI MateBook D 14 - 14 Inch Laptop with FullView 1080P FHD Ultrabook PC (AMD Ryzen 5, 8 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, Windows 10 Home, Multi-screen Collaboration, Fingerprint Reader), Space Grey https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B083T5H
  9. Hi all, Just wondering which one of these laptops is best for playing Football Manager 2021. Looking to purchase one on Black Friday. https://www.box.co.uk/81LK0039UK-Lenovo-IdeaPad-Gaming-L340-15_2934443.html https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/acer-nitro-5-an515-54-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-256-gb-ssd-10205925-pdt.html Furthermore, if you have any other suggestions of laptops in a similar price range, please let me know, Many thanks,
  10. Brilliant, thank you so much for your help! I think I’ll pay £600 and go for this one: https://www.box.co.uk/81LK0039UK-Lenovo-IdeaPad-Gaming-L340-15_2934443.html It definitely seems worth the price and I should be able to run FM on the highest settings. Many thanks for your help.
  11. Understandable. I had no idea the laptop was that old! That looks decent. My budget is around £300-£500. £600 at a push. As long as I can find a laptop around that price range that can run Football Manager well, I’m not really bothered about playing any other games. Thank you for your feedback and help. Do you have any suggestions/links to laptops around that price range that can run Football Manager well? I’m not really bothered about playing any other games, just FM. Many thanks.
  12. Brilliant, thank you for your help! Below is a link to a similar laptop I’m looking at: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/154085609245 Do you think this is worth it or are their better options available?
