The Acer from Amazon is the stronger by some distance. Faster processor so the game'll process quicker, plus you get a dedicated graphics card which'll be better for playing the matches in 3D.
You can however get the same spec machine, albeit with 256GB storage as opposed to the 512GB for £50 less here: https://www.box.co.uk/FX505GT-BQ008T-ASUS-TUF-Gaming-FX505GT-BQ008T_2940903.html
I've only mentioned that as the other one you've linked also has 256GB storage, so if you're happy with that amount, this one would offer you the same performance for a bit less.
I've had a think and gone for the acer, thanks for all your help over the last week or two in both threads. Very much appreciated.

Out of the two, the HP is better I think, but for the same price I'd choose this over it: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/gaming/pc-gaming/gaming-laptops/asus-tuf-fx505dt-15-6-gaming-laptop-intel-core-i5-gtx-1650-512-gb-ssd-10205615-pdt.html
You get a stronger CPU and a dedicated graphics card with the same amount of storage.
The HP does have twice the RAM, but I'd choose the stronger CPU over more RAM.
I'd steer clear of the Acer as the CPU has a very low base clock speed.
hi, the one you recommended isn't available for delivery or collection in my area from currys
could i please get your opinion on this one if possible. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/hp-14s-dq1505sa-14-laptop-intel-core-i7-512-gb-ssd-silver-10203392-pdt.html
thanks in advance

Would only be looking to have say 5 or 6 countries leagues playable. have a buy now pay later account with currys and a voucher to put towards so have been looking at the two below.

Hi,
am looking for a laptop to play fm23 and just use it for general browsing, netflix etc. probably prefer Acer as my last couple have been from them.
usually put about 6/7 nations on the save with a large database.
just wondered if you think these will be fine ?
