    This happens to me. It aways happens when I am a few points in front at the top of the Premier. 3 or 4 up at half time, then I'm lucky to scrape through with a draw, all my important player ratings go down to 6, when I sub them other players go down to 6. Then after a few games I am a few points behind in the league and everything returns to normal. I know people keep saying nothing is scripted, and I believe them, it does make me wonder sometimes. SI's AI gone mad perhaps?

    So every time something like this happens you start a new game do you? If you do, there is nothing to stop you using the editor to make real life changes and restarting a new game.

    And today they were deducted 10 points, do you really expect SI to react to everything as it happens in real life and issue patches?

    My under 21's won the Premier League 1 but were put in PL2 due to my facilities being down graded, so maybe the same happened to you?

    The more successful you are the more money they want when renewing contracts. I would do the usual first, beg the board for more money. If I was unsuccessful there, I would sell them and try to buy replacements from lower leagues or cast offs from the big guys. Failing that you might end up like a lot of teams that hit the big time only to spiral back down again, that is if you keep your job long enough.

    250 mb from my Beta save, I could delete it but I have become quite attached to it for sentimental reasons.

    Might be an idea to tell people to stop filling the bloody thing in, to be told at the end sufficient reply's have already been received. It just cost me 5 minutes of FM time I will never get back.

    You still can't play another team from the same association in the new Swiss Model (36 team league) It is a bug that you should report.

    So, you can speak all the different languages your players may speak? you are a talented fellow.

    This works for me (I already rotate, have 2 11's etc) I don't know what effect it will have on player development but it is working at the moment.

    I agree, it doesn't matter what I do, low pressing etc. My game had almost become a non-contact sport. Some of my poor darlings can't seem to play 2 games a week without needing a rest for a month, they come back and are knackered again a week later and need another month off, wouldn't it be great if you could get away with that at work in real life ))) One of the reasons I brought the in game editor, so I could rectify these things happening and make my game a little bit more realistic.

    Geez thanks for reminding me, I first played Football Manager (the original version) in 1982 I think it was, on my Acorn Electron and later on, my STe. I have brought every version of CM/FM ever released, I even played FM live.

    Sign him, then loan him out to a non-English team in a playable league. Make sure he is loaned out as at least an important player and in any position so that he plays games. If you can't loan him out, it's worth reapplying for a work permit every 3 months because they will sometimes get one.

    All my players in FM 23 complain about coming off the bench, it has never happened to me in any other version, no one has ever complained about coming on before.
