This is just laziness by the people running the game. 5 subs rule is a permanent one since March. The premier league also announced in March that starting from the 22/23 season the 5 subs rule would take effect. The developers could've easily introduced this into the game.

So, did anyone edit the new rules for how many international players are called up? 26 players
