It isn't necessarily unexpected for GPU usage to be pretty high when rendering 3D scenes in any game (not that it should be always 100% by any means), that'd be why you don't get the issue running matches in 2D.  But is there anything else happening in FM when you notice this? I'm thinking along the lines of lag, or slowdown.

There is general lag, for example when games are being simulated when I press continue and just before a match. Since I've gone to medium my GPU usage has been between 50-70%

Other games I play are Forza horizon 4 which doesn't use as much GPU and CSGO, which is very easy to run.

Hey, I included a screenshot showing that page, on recommended settings with 5 star graphics capability. I lowered the settings to medium graphics quality and that keeps the GPU usage at 50% I don't know if that should be expected for my GPU.

Screenshot attached is on my current save, however this problem has also occurred on far smaller databases with <30,000 players loaded, when I switch to 2D my GPU usage doesn't go above 50% yet I'm on recommended settings for my PC

I'm experiencing consistently above 90% GPU usage, even when a highlight isn't playing as seen in the attachment, but it reaches 100% when a highlight is running, I am on recommended settings for my graphics card.

GPU is a Radeon RX 580 on the latest stable driver, no problems with any other game. Sometimes the CPU usage is also spiking to 100%

I am also curious how I would create a unified UK league system in regular FM20, couldn't find anything on the workshop. I assume you could only do something like this using advanced rules.
