New game with Kobenhavn, want to try to work with mostly Scandinavian players. Finished the first season, and I'm very happy with these guys!

Lars Larsen: Dubbed the new Peter Schmeichel, I think it's clear why. Already playing him in cup games and having him mentored by Rönning, who is a model citizen although he already has a solid personality. Came through my own youth ranks.

Burhan Osmani: Danish with Albanian roots. Picked him up from rivals Midtjylland for 1.9M. Got very high hopes for him!

Vilhelm Qvist: Maybe my best signing yet, picked up by my scouts in the Swedish second division. and went straight into the first team as Jorgensen's loan ended. 450k from IF Brommapojkarna, a steal.

Eduardo Ortiz: Will have to wait two more years for this Colombian gem but the scout reports are very, very promising. Driven personality and 20 determination, golden combination!

IFK Brommapojkarna have one of the best youth facilities in game, along with FC Pyunik in Armenia and FC Viitorul Constanta in Romania (Don't ask how i can spell Brommapojkarna without looking at the name of the club. Just don't)

Glad I made the right choice to ignore my scouts and not signing him then :)

Here's who I did sign though. Poached from Derby when he was 15/16, he's now my lynchpin in the shadow striker/advanced playmaker role. First choice for England and I have to fend off multiple bids from the big clubs every transfer window.

  3. My new intake of players. Not what I was expecting to see from a 'golden generation' but according to my HoYD, "Nick Thielemann looks as if he could emerge as one of the best players of his generation." I will also be posting a journal about the save. Once again, I am going to say to any haters: I am NOT using the in-game editor at all. Tell me if any of these players look good please.1820611139_2021-01-25(23).thumb.png.e1a270b2a7d7ece4bacf98dae5707b98.png

  4. I know that last FM I wasn't truthful with you all regarding regens and my reputation was tarnished but this year I vowed that I will not get any editor for the game. I have just gotten the game and this is my intake preview. I will post the but tell me what you all think of the preview and what I should expect because this is my first ever FM21 save.

  5. My regens of my save. Also, FYI my squad has 263 people in it so they are VERY good.

    Ben Allen:

Poached off Arsenal who demanded a lot of money for him but I disrupted him and Arsenal actually let him go for free. I did this for a few players.

    Tuesday Wednesday:

Ignore the odd name but remember it. This goalie has heaps of potential to become the best the world has ever seen. Atletico made the fatal mistake of a 6 month contract. AI is dumb. Sent him on loan to Génération Foot. If the name sounds familiar, it's because it's the maker of players such as: Sadio Mane, Ismaila Sarr and Papiss Cisse

    Ettore Poggio:

My best prospect at the club. Gallons of potential. I struck a 1 year deal with Torino so that I could get all their player for free. After I got Poggio, I canceled the link. Call me what you want but it's free real estate.

Harrison Foster: The most valuable regen in the game. I could just play it simple, keep him in the Man Utd U23's and give him the odd cup match. Or I could send him on loan. Where should he go? Generation Foot, Barnet or Atletico Pamplona. I am leaning towards Barnet because they are my hometown club. They could get a massive boost from it.

Had a really good youth intake (probably the best I've ever had). I do have a couple of issues though - A couple of these players I don't think will fit my tactic. Gilchrist is easy - GK. Liddicott is also easy enough - he will be trained as a right winger (although, I wouldn't be against training him as a RB but his tackling worries me). The issues I have are as follows:

    • Holland I am training as a BPD with the idea to try and raise his composure and vision a bit but ultimately play him as a CD. I am concerned about his jumping reach and composure mostly. I think his lack of technique limits my ability to train him to play in the CM-De role or WB-Su role. I just can't see it being raised high enough. Am I right to stick to training him to play CD?
    • Cox seems a straight forward RB but his lack of pace worries me. I can't really see another role for him Being either footed does open up opportunities usually (and I have my RB cutting inside). Should his lack of pace concern me?
    • Hillard I don't think will cut it as a PF or AF in my tactic. I think he may be able to play WP-At in the future. He may also cut it as a CM-Su. Which would be the better role for him?

As a reference, here is my tactic:

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I don't know if this helps but this is my title winning Man U tactic. 1486081905_2020-09-10(1).thumb.png.1c7f7b16b58c365b8591b06eb74b3c6e.png

  7. I got a randomly generated name and and while in my 14 days of quarantine after coming back from quarantine, I want this to be my longest save. I got the Cadiz B job but got sacked after I accidently resigned after a disagreement with the board. I got the FCSM job and will now post monthly results. Peace!

Because of what? Im wondering if you get my point of why i stopped playing FM.

I do get your point. It's just that if i had a choice between FM20 and Fifa career mode, then FM20 is miles ahead of Fifa

I don't know how that will work out in practise but it sounds really awesome. So you're a manager of your own player. The coach tells you, you going to play, train you etc. you start a relationship with him. And in transferwindows, clubs can have interest in you and tell you their plans for you in their team etc. Sounds crazy. But as i said i dont know how that will work out in practise and if its achievable. It wil be something like in FIFA mode but way more in details en depth.

Anyway I want to see the ME improve a lot. When you watch games in extended highlights that you see various goals and a play style that you want your teams play and not 80 % of the goals only come from set pieces, corners, freekicks or some crosses all the time. It needs the balance back and the enjoyment the FMs before had. Alot has been said about it and i hope they will give it alot of attention for FM 2021. Overall the game is great but i cant play it because of this issue i noticed.

So you don't play FM20 because of that. Well i get that but  Fm is on a whole other level than fifa so i prefer fm

  10. Just put down your best ideas for FM21 here. My one is that there should be a player career mode, like every match is simulated and you get the ability to ask managers questions, lead pep talks if you are the captain and spectate the game from your eyes.
