  1. Sometimes when checking with the in-game editor I see teams with a negative transfer balance, perhaps that'll happen if you don't have the money to pay the transfer fee.
  2. How's your reputation looking? You contract length will also play a part. With a 3 star rep and a 4th place finish in the 2.Bundesliga with Kaiserslautern I was wanted and offered interviews by like 4 clubs at the end of the season, Union Berlin in Bundesliga and 3 others that underachieved in 2.Bundesliga.
  3. There's an option both in the pre and in game editors called 'Retiring after spell at current club' if that's ticked a player'll stay at a club until retirement or you release him.
  4. It's currently impossible to do real matches/results for cup stages.
  5. Had the exact same thing as Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final except I only had 1 player available...
  6. A day after your contract expires, you can 'resign' but from my experience the game recognizes it as you leaving at end of contract instead of resigning. (Except the media but who cares about them)
  7. This should be in the base game imo This is a good thing that could be an option. I totally agree, could also be in the base game.
  8. Well I see, appreciate you taking the time to explain, I've already started on making my editor files for FM21 again so I'll just start my new saves there as it's a bummer not being able to do my usual FC Rostov save properly this version.
  9. Yeah I've read people saying that all databases are sadly affected.
  10. Yes you should check your ranking levels and how they're set.
  11. Like without recreating everything, cause I wouldn't mind with the right tools but the editor isn't that, possible to perhaps replace a file or something, or's FM 21 my only option? Also I guess it wouldn't even be a 100% possible since the Russian National Team seems to be completely non-existing now? No players no nothing?
  12. It had actually been reported to SI on 2 January this year, meaning they had roughly 3 and a half months to change 1 single field but they chose not to. The responses were: "As alluded to, this decision was taken to ease the fixture congestion ahead of the 2022 World Cup. It will return to two legs the following season. " & "I can understand the feelings of difference but we have explained why the decision was taken as a result of some game play considerations." I've always returned the second legs via the editor and have not come across any issues so I don't get why SI actually does this if it's not done irl?
  13. Hmm this might be a good take, I've never personally been a manager of a 'front end' sugar daddy club so I'm not sure how these players behave during negotiations, but I've managed a former Front end sugar daddy club, at the point they had none and were 33M in the red, I had to clear some of the way overpaid players and got the wage budget at least under and mainly relied on loans, but one players that I bought from Crvena Zvezda if I recall was 140 ca and I got him on 23K a week, this is with the club, all be now in the red on general finances, having a high wage budget, but it could be that the players instantly ask for absurd wages just cause the club 'can afford it'.
  14. How'd you do it? I've recently remade the 15-18 versions of the UCL and UEL and would also love to see the rankings without everything breaking.
  15. Whenever I play in Poland, one of the bigger teams tends to get a front end sugar daddy take over, they get pumped with a crap ton of money but nothing ever really comes from this, they might win a league title like once in 10 years, but that's okay I guess, since a lot of money doesn't necessarily mean success. But my issue kind of comes from this, they get great maxed out facilities quite quickly awesome, and then... they just give quite crappy players 20-30x more than what they should be earning even the big teams at the start at best pay like 7k a week but that's for their best players, they generally don't actually spend a lot on transfers, just the wages, this in practice would make sense would they be buying players of quality but no, they tend to just buy average players for the league, like around 120-130 ca (keep in mind I'm quite far in this save so the bigger teams in the league have players of around 130-140 ca) but the only difference is that they pay them much more then they should, I get it that they'll most likely offer more than the run of the mill club that relies on tv league and european competition money but does about 20-30x really make any sense? Of course I don't really expect for them to instantly do a PSG and get Neymar and such since such players would most likely not even come to Poland, even if it's a top 6 league like in my save but still, all that money on such crappy players where they're still at the point of finishing bottom of any UCL group still and at best getting knockout of UEL or UECL. Similar occurs in the lower leagues, team got taken over by a front end sugar daddy whilst in the semi-pro 4th division! they were giving 80-90ca players 10k a week?!?! Hell sure give maybe 1k-2k since that's still about 2-4x more than any other team in the league but jeez, around 16x more is a bit too much, and I don't believe these kinds of players wouldn't play for such money since 2k is still like 4x more than at any other club, heck even more than some top division clubs would offer. So is it just me or are AI teams god awful with money? Especially a lot of it? Or is it something else?
  16. I would perhaps take a look at all your coaching staff and check their determination, maybe if theirs is low it'll have an impact on your players?
  17. Damn bro lost to a team that currently doesn't even exist anymore 😂. But jokes aside that's quite unlucky. In contrast I just had my entire team on international duty whilst I had an FA cup quarter final to play, felt quite robbed there myself!
  18. Hi @Michael Sant , my apologies for such an late reply, I forgor 💀 about this post, but I have a new save with the same issue, most players were at 30-80k a week and my offer was 2.2k 3 year contract, a one year contract even lower for 1.2k, I've accepted but edited my wages to 7k as I believe it to fit more, come end of my contract and they're offering 6.2k for 3 years, there's no logic here? Especially after winning the league, cup and Europa League. My current highest earner is at 88k, second highest at 45k, I don't believe they can't afford to have the manager at like 50k, which would seem more logical, AI managers also seem severely underpaid especially when you compare their wages to player wages. Rest of the staff is also quite underpaid. Also they shouldn't offer you lower wages for a shorter contract, makes no sense that a shorter contract is roughly 50% that of a 3 year contract, considering that if something was to go wrong and they'd have to sack you they'd pay less compensation. I uploaded the save as New - low-manager-wages.fm
  19. Yep, talking about how you've applied for other jobs, how'd they know? Also I'm about 16 seasons in and each interview I'm being asked about managing multiple clubs, like, didoi of course I'd manage multiple clubs after so many years. They really should address this.
  20. I'd believe this should be changed as when you do in-fact leave, the media and fans act as if you've resigned instead of leaving at the end of your contract.
  21. I've noticed this sort of with a couple of normal managers too, they can underachieve how much they want but can't be sacked, not even with the In-game editor, only way is to straight up hire a new manager then they'll leave.
