S19 - April 2042

Great month except last result, we have been decimated with injuries recently and lots of games this month so fatigue as well. Despite the loss we are still in the game for the title.

UEFA Europa Legaue

First game against Brighton sends us to SF, where we will play ... Widzew, so 2 teams advanced to SF which is great for coeff. (Legia is also in SF in Conference League)

Polish FA CUP

We needed extra time to beat Legia, apparently we ended some unsuccessful run against them. We will play against Slask in the final. Next month is going to be exciting.

Decent month, considering that we played our 1st team in Europa League and most league games were played by 2nd team. When we played Lech game we were first in the table. With 8 games left we are 3rd with 1 point behind 1st and 2nd

UEFA Europa League

Defensive play helped us win Away from home, and then after a 11goal crazy game we manage to put us through to QF, with Bak(15a)* scoring 4 goals. We play Brighton next, and despite us having very little chances I hope that they will underestimate us.

A perfect month in the league for us. After 2 wins against top table teams we finished the month with hammering Motor Lublin.

A decent draw, we dodged Bayer 04, Aresenal and PSV

We put 4 past Cracovia to advance to semis. There is no easy teams left now in the competitions.

We played our first team in both games, as we are in winter off season in the league and managed to win both away games. We are shockingly winning the Europa League group !

Not the best month in the league, we only get 5 out of 9 points , but still, yet again we share points with top teams in the league. This helps us keep up with the pack. We go into the winter in 2nd, however it is really tight at the top.

UEFA Europa League

This is an absolute shocker, but it was quite an even game. Anyway, this helps us to book Playoff place in the next round!

Polish FA CUP

Expectedly we win against LKS Lodz II, and we have been drawn Cracovia from 2nd tier in the QF.

Mixed month, however we had 2 difficult against Pogon and Rakow. Loss against Pogon hurts us as they were directly below us at the time, however I am happy with draw against Rakow. Its still really tight at the top of the table and everything is up for grabs.

UEFA Europa League

We absolutely smashed FCSB with our 1st team and then we played our 2nd team agains Besiktas, tbf I was expecting a loss here, but I ain't going to complain 3 games left and we are 3rd in league phase. Can't be happier. We play Arsenal next and then we play Molde and Qarabag in January.

Internationals.
Really good numbers here. Also 2 players go to senior team.

We were meant to get consortium takeover but looks like it will be internal one in the end.

Very decent month without a loss. Happy to share the points with Lech and Slask as we are keeping up with the top teams. It is really close at the top of the league at the moment. 1 game can reshuffle top 4.

UEFA Europa League

Single game this month, and confident win against SK Rapid, we are currently 4th in the league phase with plenty of games still to play.

Polish FA Cup

Another win in the cup and we are through to 3rd Round.

We are slowly catching up with Legia, still good few years before we catch up.

Only 2 games this month. We continue our good run, and are currently 3rd with a game in hand which we will play against Lech. this will be a game for top spot.

Confident win in the first round against Stal Stalowa Wola.

A narrow win against Astana and great result against Bayer04 away from home.

Not a bad start to the league, we didn't really have a lot of top teams, but draws against Legia and Radomiak I will take especially away.

Polish Super Cup

Narrow loss to Lech with heavily experimental squad. At that point we had like 8 players injured, another 5 on international duty so we had to make do.

UEFA Europa League

Europa League draw is out. I think we might be able to put up a fight with many of these teams, so I hope that we can qualify further in the competition.

Transfers

The last one you didn't see is Sierant(10f)* He was a started for second team for many seasons, however he stopped developing long time ago. We needed to make some space for younger players.

Money is not a problem anymore for us.

I haven't really tracked this much in recent years. All I knew was that we needed to be in top10 as we had guaranteed UCL spot.

This season due to recent results (3 ECL finals in the last 3 years) we have moved up to 7th in coefficient table. We are going to lose 2 weaker seasons now so we might be able to bump Netherlands if we're lucky.

S18 - Season review

Ekstraklasa

The last month in the league wasn't too bad considering we played really good teams. There will be some changes in the team for next season however as I feel like we might have few better prospects coming through which I want to give them playing time. Especially recent intake.

We finish 6th in the end, being in top 4 throughout most of the season, however we didn't deliver in the end.
Lech ends their poor season run where they were close to relegation and wins the title this year out of nowhere. Widzew yet again proves that they have become force to be reckoned with in Poland with their massive fan base.

At the bottom, Cracovia and Warta Poznan go straight back down, joined by Wisla Krakow. This means that there is no team from Krakow in the league at the moment.

Polish FA Cup & Super Cup

Really happy to win this again! Shoutout to Radunia who managed to get themselves to the final, first one in their history, despite it being easy win in the final we did have to work our way up there, beating the likes of Pogon and Radomiak

UEFA Champions League

I was not expecting to get out of the league phase giving the games we had planned, but crucial wins against Villareal and smashing Ajax put us through to KO stage. I feel like we could have done much better against AC Milan if we didn't get two reds in the second leg.
