The Wikipedia Page on squad numbers does a decent job of illustrating historical squad numbering and listing out national variations.

I let my DOF do contract negotiations and that's about it. Even if he fails, his offer is usually close enough that I can add a competition or performance based incentive to it and it's accepted.

Love this skin, but would like to scale the font sizes or row heights or something to better fit on my MacBook. Some nit picky things I'd like to try to resolve that scaling to 95% doesn't resolve. And 85% is too small.
Could some one point me in the right direction of what to look for in the (extracted) xml files?

I ran into this when I had one vacancy and gave offers to two coaches. The first coach to accept filled the vacancy, the other was immediately canceled. I was able to go back and offer the canceled one a contract again, then received the cancel deal or fire a current coach news item the second time around.

Having release clause is a bad idea IMHO. That's why I hate Spanish thing with release clauses. :P
Which is why so many Spanish release clauses are ridiculously high. But, the requirement of a release clause is due to Spanish employment law, right?

You will not need to repurchase. Every game you’ve purchased in Steam, that supports MacOS or 64-bit architecture, will be available to you to play.
I switched to Mac last year and have no problem, but can’t play older 32-bit architecture games in my Steam library.
At least, I think it’s a 32-bit v 64-bit issue.

Interesting setup, that level of detail must be a killer on the quickness of the game?
Six seasons in, I’ve noticed match days and transfer deadline days taking a little longer to progress than they did in the first season. It’s still better than my FM20 set up on my previous machine with fewer nations/leagues and lower detail level.

What if regions were grouped first by Federation Membership, then ordered by international rank rather than alphabet?
Not replacing geographic grouping, but in addition too (maybe still sorted by international rank though)

Excuse the delay here @Harper. Truth be told I experienced a panoply of crashes, crashdumps, and horror stories but that's also bc I had every custom file, database and other add-on under the sun so who knows how much that had to do w/ the M1. Mostly, I was thrilled w the speed of playing FM on an M1, i was able to play w/ more leagues than ever before and the game just made so much more sense not waiting an hour to advance a day in the year 2055. I recommend FM on Silicon to all.
I’m interested in seeing how the M1 Pro/Max perform. Not interested in buying either machine, but wonder if the additional two cores will significantly improve speeds.
I’m assuming it will be marginal, and certainly not worth the cost between a Mac Mini/MBA/MBP

I think transfer fees get inflated way too fast. Both between AI clubs and negotiations with the human club.
There’s no way my 26 year old career backup with a grand total of 22 Premier League appearances (78 total league appearances) should both be valued by the game for £49m or getting an offer for that amount.

I just checked and they appointed Brendan Rodgers in my game. I just assumed they'd have Steve Bruce due to him being sacked so near release day.
The appoint Rodgers in mine too, offered me £20m for Calum Chambers.

Only thing I’m missing in FM22 is all the newgens I’ve become attached to in my FM21 save. I’m usually not playing FM this late into the cycle, but my academy lads are keeping me in it.

On my players Transfer Status screen. What's the difference? Every player I look at has equal values under Transfer Value and Guide Value.

Business, poor administration and racism is what you’re then seeing with it ranked 5th in wiki. Also cronyism in government as well.
When Australia made the 2006 WC, there was a noticeable bumb in its profile in Australia. Every time a WC comes round it dominates the sporting scene here, and to the point where the other codes start getting protective of their stadiums when WC bids come up.
Attention to the WC isn’t really an accurate barometer for game importance though. It’s the premiere international competition.

Around 2010/11 I think, a lad called Dentinho from Brazil, him and James Rodriguez were absolutely disgusting in my Newcastle United save
That was the other Brazilian! You could sign Neymar, Ganso, and Dentinho from Santos and Corinthians for pretty cheap and off you go.

I wonder how many of the users of older versions like me looked at that list and noted that they had signed about two thirds of them at sometime in the past.
Veloso was like a long shot cheat code for me.

I searched the reviewed folder and couldn't find this (possible I just didn't use the right keywords).
This is an alternative to the buy back clause that we selling team can insert into a transfer. And would be in lieu of a sell-on fee additionally agreed.
Right of First Refusal / Opportunity to Match can be inserted into a clause. If the buying team later decides to sell the player, they are obligated to inform the selling team and give them an opportunity to match the highest accepted bid. That could be declined (as was the case when Barça offered Cesc to Arsenal in 2014) or the player could reject the contract on offer, if there is bad blood from the player's sale/treatment.
Perhaps this is a middle ground between the buy back clause. A buy back clause could potentially limit the profit a club makes on selling a player, where the first option is no loss in fee. And selling a player back to the club they bought them from, would prevent having to turn over any applicable sell-on fee.

In the 2007-2010 time frame, raid Santos for Neymar and Ganso.
Neymar lived up to the FM potential, Ganso, not so much.
Along with Pato and your attack was golden.

The Sweden had loads of wonderkids in the the years leading up to World Cup 2006, I think CM4, CM03/04, FM2005
Andreas Isaksson, Kim Kallstrom, Alexander Farnerud, Markus Rosenberg, Zlatan

hey, how is FM running on the new mbp?
Runs well on the M1 machine released last fall. It’s in the benchmark thread a few times. Not sure anyone has an M1X machine yet to test.

If this isn't set accurate in the database it could be the main reason why.
Must be the ownership change I experienced. Original ownership always gave me an option to the type of affiliate then if I wanted to select the club, and if I said now always found a link. Poland, Greece, Spain, Sweden, one club in each of the three tiers below the PL.
New ownership just says, yep we’ll find a new commercial link, and then comes back and says they couldn’t come to an agreement.
Debating just canceling some of the agreements I have in place, but fear they won’t get replaced.

[SUGGESTION] Potential Club Shortlist

What about making notes have a conditional reminder(s).
Make a note about a Club -> Trigger News Item when Job Available
Make a note about a Player -> Trigger News Item When Status Changes (Transfer Listed, Unhappy, Contract Expiration With X Months). This might be helpful with keeping tabs on players we’re interested in, but don’t want the “public knowledge” of interest or routine updates that happen when a player is shortlisted.
