Can you provide a screenshot of your tactic(s)?

Thank you, I‘ll keep mine on defend then
I've thought about playing with a L(d) and making my DM(s) a RPM(s) instead. That would make it a 3-1-6 instead when we are further up the field.

thank you @Lasson one other question, how far does the L(S) venture?
Passes received against AC Horsens (attacking from right to left)
SpoilerPasses received against Brøndby (attacking from left to right).
SpoilerPasses received against Bayern München (attacking from left to right).
SpoilerIf you want some pictures of anything else in regards to the Libero, just let me know. But as you can see from the passes that my L(s) received in my last three matches, he will move up quite a bit along with the rest of the team as we progress the ball.

@Lasson great game! Why do you chose FB(D) instead of IFB(D)?
and a DLF(A) with two wingers?I do use IFB(d) on both sides making it a 3-2-5. I have zero traditional full backs on my team. This is the height of all of my defenders.
I like using the DLF(a) to link up with the other players. I felt like the PF(a)/AF was getting isolated at times, and I don't see any problems using DLF(a) with two wingers on the sides. They will still make runs in behind and so will the CM(a) and BBM.

Getting inspiration from another thread on this site as well, I have now settled on three seperate tactics within the 4-3-3 shape.
Positive
SpoilerAttacking
SpoilerBalanced
SpoilerIn 2028, I just played Bayern München in the Champions League Round of 16 and even though I lost 4-3 overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the overall play of the team and the tactic. I mainly used the Balanced setup for the two games, as they are, obviously, a much better side. Below are stats from the two games.

When to tweak his tempo in the game?
I tend to play slower if my opponent are sitting back and the opposite if my opponent are pressing higher up the pitch.

I don't see any problems with the roles and duties. What you have on your screen is your defensive shape. With the roles and duties you have chosen, your shape will turn into a 2-3-5 when attacking. It will look like this. With the new positional play, you should not worry about the Libero moving up into the midfielders place as he will slide over to make room for the Libero in the '3' of your 2-3-5 shape.

Carrilero’s are great. They seem to act like a less gung-ho B2B. Nice balance between attack and defence.
One thing I have noticed is that PPMs seem to affect how a player acts in those two roles more than for (eg) AP or DLP. I suspect this is because playmakers tend to have PPMs which amplify or emphasise parts of their role whereas B2B and Carrileros are more likely to have more individual traits, like long shots or tackling harder or getting into the box, which significantly affect how they play.
Another difference between the CAR and the BBM is that the BBM will move into the AM strata as part of the positional play.

I'm a little confused here. Do you mean a W on the right who has a left foot as their strong foot?
Exactly.

The W(A/S) if „wrong-footed“ cuts in more like an IF and stays closer to the line. That’s what I‘m seeing though. The IW cuts inside very deep and often in front of the box. If „wrong-footed“ it’s a different story though.
I only use "wrong-footed" players as my wingers.

How do you see this being different from having two IWs?
I haven't tried IWs in my setup, but I can imagine that they will come inside i bit earlier than the Ws and I don't want that. I want them to stay wide as long as possible to make space centrally for my CM(a), RPM and DLF(a).

This is my current 4-3-3, which is a 3-2-5 in the attacking phase. Originally, the RPM was a BBM, but I really like how the RPM drops a little deeper and helps in the initial build-up. Also, I felt like I had to use Christian Eriksen as some sort of playmaker after getting him to Copenhagen.
I love having Inverted Full-Backs. I have zero traditional Full-Backs/Wing-Backs left in my squad and I only use Central Defenders and retrain them to be able to play on the outside.
As for PI's, the DM have 'Hold Position' and both Wingers have 'Cut Inside With Ball".

Call me boring, but I would just run a traditional 4-3-3. Your midfielder will automatically move forwards to the AM strata if you use a BBM, MEZ, AP, RPM or CM(a).

Ask yourself "How do I want my players to behave with and without the ball?"
Also, can you provide us with a picture of your tactic?

I'd give it one more go for promotion before looking elsewhere and hopefully one of your desired destinations will be available at that time. I think you'll be able to grind out the promotion next season.

It was not my intention to give you my tactic for you to just copy and use. My intention was to give you an insight into how I approach creating and building a tactic.
How do you want your team to play building up?

What is it that is not working?
When creating my tactic, I tend to think about my offensive shape; how do I want my players to position themselves when I am in possession?
With the ball I want the 4-2-3-1 to transition into a 3-2-4-1 shape and for that to happen, I have to use certain roles for the positional rotations to happen.
Since I last posted this picture, I have made some slight tweaks, but the principals are the same. My IFB(d)'s together with the CD(d) are the back three with the L(s) pushing up alongside the DM(s) to create the double pivot. The VOL(a) pushes up into the AM strata occupying the left half space, making the AM(s) slide over to the right half space, while the wingers, obviously, are maintaining the width.
Does it make sense?

What does the whole tactic look like? Perhaps you are not creating the space needed for the IF to get into shooting positions.

What should my DM do in my tactic? Other than AVG rating what metrics should I use to judge his performances?
