I've been experimenting with opposition instructions but the only one I've found to be effective is tight marking a lone striker, the others don't seem to be having much impact.

Tip guys if you come up against a team with a lone striker man-mark him and show him on his weaker foot in the OI instructions, completely removes him from the game.

This is the toughest FM to do the plug and play approach, the AI is too smart. You have to constantly tweak the tactics throughout the match.

For man marking you need to mark a player not a position.

Will OI instructions ruin the tactics? I like to force opposition strikers and wing backs onto their weaker feet for example.

The Beowulf 442 TM tactic just posted would be good for Inter as Lukaku is an amazing target man. Or you could try FireandWater 4321 Float.

I thought this one would do better, kinda disappointing. The goal output is impressive though so it should be good for elite teams.

I think attack is the best form of defence in this year's game yes. It's better to have a DLP in front of your back four than a DM for sure.

I think TeaforOne 4222 VOL 2 and RDF's tweaked FireandWater 4321 with floated crosses deserve test runs to see how they do.

BEOWULF after like 8 seasons doesn't seem to be as effective as it once was for me this season. 

Will probably still win me the league but more off the strength of my squad than the tactic itself. Seems like the AI finally figured it out somewhat  

8 seasons is a good run for a tactic. The AI figures them all out eventually which is why you should download several tactics.

The Norwich Sicilian 42211 is decent. It won't conquer Europe but it's a solid underdog tactic that will help mediocre teams overachieve. I tried it with West Ham and finished 4th.
