  1. Can anyone provide some tips on playing away with Tottenham? I cannot seems to get a result regardless of the opposition. I have lost against Stoke, WBA and had a lucky draw against Fulham. In this last match I was the high favourite, therefore I decided on a control strategy. Nothing happened so I switched to attack without any improvement. A boring match ended in a 1-1 draw with Fulham putting up a late offensive in which I was lucky to not concede. Should I have decided on a counter strategy despite the odds? Thanks in advance for your thoughts on this!
  2. I have just started playing FM2011. In FM2010 I build one tactic and used touchline shouts to alter my strategy (eg. attack/control/counter) and player instructions (eg. pass into space/keep possesion) depending on how matches went. The fundamental questions to continuing this into FM2011 is: if I build one tactic and focus on team blend will all this be undone the moment I apply a Touchline shout? (eg.changing from control to attack)
  3. SFraser: I use Riquelme as playmaker for my Wolfsburg team. He is doing brilliant but gets injured quite a lot and his physical stats suffer. Would you recommend putting him (he is 32 going on 33) on 1st choice AM or veteran AM schedule?
  4. <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">Originally posted by craigthejack: Just one question, is the goalie meant to kick it long to the MC? Rewind, to the MC, rewind, to the MC...Ok, enough </div></BLOCKQUOTE> I have changed it to a kick towards my targetman. Since my MC has crappy heading it is of no use for me, but I think that it was meant to be the FC after all (since it was that way in the previous tactics)
  5. Has anyone got suggestions how to adapt this tactic for away games? Normally I play narrow, fast counter-attacking football away, but that seems contradictory with the idea behind this tactic, since it is based on crosses towards a big targetman. Also it is known that fast tempo and 'down the flanks' do not combine well in FM2007.
