Should add that I've since deleted and reinstalled the game and now I get to the create a player screen before the same crash

Hi,
The game crashes on start up at the players with trophy screen. I get an application error with the code FM 2020 v20.4.1.1363262
The game was working well but I updated my pc with the latest drivers from HP, Intel, and Microsoft. The system is a HP laptop with a 10th gen i7 chip and onboard graphics.

Hi,
No, I mean when it asks for your details after the loading screens at the start of the game. When you put your name, dob, advertising preferences etc. Sorry, should have been clearer.
