  1. yeah, its a nightmare, 92 teams in the competition and yet somehow can only find like 60, then I add in another regional division and it can only find 44 even though they are not linked in any way.
  2. will do, gonna try and fix my lower league japan stuff first. teams jumping divisions horizontally and I have no idea why
  3. huh, you know that would probably work. like actually. Or it would be even better to use the hidden stage for both ACL and AFC Cup and use a total seeding method to then distribute to the three leagues.
  4. I got it to work with the current system as well but as soon as I go to replace or delete the official ones, they either all dissapear or game crashses lol.
  5. yeah especially with continental competitions there are always bound to be loophoples. I've even spend the last 5 days trying to add the new ACL structure but it all goes to ***** lol.
  6. the other thing you could try is to do it and export it as a XML and manually verify it. reimport it and save it as an FMF. always a chance it might work
  7. those were for active divisions lol. every single league is in use in my file with every single league added to required teams. editor is so weird this year, some time it just works and sometimes without reason it just doesnt wanna do anything.
  8. Looking at this, I can say that player statistics were based on the start of the season due to having to find a middle ground where all of the data could be replicated as accurately as possible across the whole of Japan so that we did not have instances of one team being updated and one not. These will all be updated for the 2024 season with a lot of those points being made make sense for that. Languages thing is also a work in progress that is currently being fixed. Club culture is something I can update, game gets iffy when you add cultures like sign high reputation players and develop youth together and based off Frontale's recent streak I decided to prioritize the former. Player positions were based at the start of the season so with a lot of players it is really the whole of last season and some early parts of this season, hence why the brazilian has his old position. again these will be updated. Kengo, yeah enough said. however Licensing pretty much dictates literally everything to do with the image of the club and how it is perceived here so we are gonna have to wait until they either want it in or not. We will get there in the end so i am gonna include this in one of the many updates I need to do lol.
  9. There was news about certain cut off dates that prevent players from being included due to licensing.
  10. J3 is not technically a fully processional league despite the naming. Example 1, only at least 3 players in the team are required to be on either a Pro A or Pro B contract. In J2 this is set to at least 5 and has to be Pro A/B which is is at least 48,000$ish. J1 is 15 and all 3 have a maximum of 25 (27 in ACL). Now most clubs in J2 and a lot in J3 go way past the minimums, but certainly not all staff are full time. A lot of J3 players actually work as well. If there was an option to either hire them as FT or PT then that would be ideal.
  11. In simple terms the editor is a basic version of their inhouse editor as I take it, so when they make updates to their internal version the editor gets updated with it, As certain fields are hardcoded or not in FM24 naturally the function would not work, although the coding remains. could be wrong though.
  12. It is extincting lower division teams during validation cause it thinks they are not needed even though I have them set in the required teams tab. I am sure you noticed in game teams are extinct for the ones not needed explaining why sim speed is much faster this year, seems like a designed feature, that the editor hasn:t been updated to facilitate. Tried setting registered teams for the first year, but the second year 3 of the regional 1 teams dissapear and 3 more change to completely unrelated divisions. 9 Teams in regional 2 and a ton in lower leagues. However they are all accounted for in cup competitions, and youth works fine as do university leagues. Also makes flexible rules nearly impossible to do
  13. @Harima83with the way the editor, and the designed way it functions with the game engine works this year, gonna have to wait for an update
  14. @Zachary Whyte pretty sure this isn`t allowed right?. Have to double check. Just a FYI, you can`t be posting how to`s on things regarding circumventing stuff to do with licensing etc. Although I DO appreciate the help, theres definately enough how to`s out there without having to discuss it in here. Thanks though guys.
  15. Simple file out for everything, but J1-JFL since regional is kinda a no go until the editor gets fixed.
  16. yeah those B teams exist hence why they are there. The editor is fickle on how it handles prom/relegation into the same league.

  19. both Nara and Osaka FC have over exagerated numbers, both of Osakas 12,000 attendaces and Naras 5000 lots were mostly all free given tickets to boost the numbers to get to the threshhold. Imabari and Hachinohe did the same. without the outliers then the numbers are nothing special. Iwata, sure but Shizuoka generates the best quality youth intake players in Japan by quite a margin. The amount of Quality in Shizuoka alone would be enough for multiple teams, Osaka has 3 and even more coming through regional. and with the amount of money now being chucked at the regional teams there will be a lot more quality teams in the future too.
