  1. Hey there! thanks for this.

while the CA/PA boosts were intentional due to there being a sizable and realistic gap between foreign and top level Japanese keepers.

Japan has notably had a problem producing top level keepers except for the few consistent outliers above, The number of attributes at 15 or above was imported somewhat incorrectly and has been rectified for the next update. There will be keepers with gk attributes of 15 or above, but they have been reduced to the realistic level as suggested by data provided from multiple sources.

Likewise mental and physical attributes were already updated in November, and due to the season ending there, there is no new data to determine whether any changes are needed. GK attributes were the only major variable that needed to be researched extensively to faithfully introduce them into the FM series.

You are welcome to point out anything else that that needs to be looked at and I will take a look

  2. I honestly do not have any Idea. either they are within the cutoff period and are licensed, outside it and not licensed or inside it and for some other reason not licensed. could be a dual nationality thing, could be the player does not want to be licensed. could be any reason for something to not happen.

  3. Looking at this, I can say that player statistics were based on the start of the season due to having to find a middle ground where all of the data could be replicated as accurately as possible across the whole of Japan so that we did not have instances of one team being updated and one not. These will all be updated for the 2024 season with a lot of those points being made make sense for that.

Languages thing is also a work in progress that is currently being fixed.

Club culture is something I can update, game gets iffy when you add cultures like sign high reputation players and develop youth together and based off Frontale's recent streak I decided to prioritize the former.

Player positions were based at the start of the season so with a lot of players it is really the whole of last season and some early parts of this season, hence why the brazilian has his old position. again these will be updated.

Kengo, yeah enough said. however Licensing pretty much dictates literally everything to do with the image of the club and how it is perceived here so we are gonna have to wait until they either want it in or not.

We will get there in the end so i am gonna include this in one of the many updates I need to do lol.

  4. J3 is not technically a fully processional league despite the naming.

Example 1, only at least  3 players in the team are required to be on either a Pro A or Pro B contract.

In J2 this is set to at least 5  and has to be Pro A/B which is is at least 48,000$ish.

    J1 is 15 and all 3 have a maximum of 25 (27 in ACL).

Now most clubs in J2 and a lot in J3 go way past the minimums, but certainly not all staff are full time. A lot of  J3 players actually work as well. If there was an option to either hire them as FT or PT then that would be ideal.

  5. both Nara and Osaka FC have over exagerated numbers, both  of Osakas 12,000 attendaces and Naras 5000 lots were mostly all free given tickets to boost the numbers to get to the threshhold. Imabari and Hachinohe did the same. without the outliers then the numbers are nothing special. Iwata, sure but Shizuoka generates the best quality youth intake players in Japan by quite a margin. The amount of Quality in Shizuoka alone would be enough for multiple teams, Osaka has 3 and even more coming through regional. and with the amount of money now being chucked at the regional teams there will be a lot more quality teams in the future too.
