Long term reader of your threads Jimbo, always enjoyable! It's given me some ideas to create a youth-only save for FM24 so thanks for the inspiration.

Adam Black looks like a superb player for 15! Glad to see this is back.

Thanks for the quick reply @XaW it's appreciated.
I'll give that a go tomorrow. In terms of 'non-vanilla' stuff; I've literally copied everything across from the PC where it never happened; haven't installed anything different. Would you find it strange that the same files on the laptop are causing it to crash on one compared to the other?

Hi guys,
Bought the below laptop over the weekend and have FM22 installed - got the real name fix and the graphics etc. that I brought across from my PC. Transferred my saved game across as well, but the game keeps freezing on certain screens; recently it's crashed on the World XI & then a couple of days later a best 11 for the year. It crashes / freezes for anywhere between 5-20 minutes.
Does have any suggestions as to what could be causing this? The laptop is supposed to be a gaming laptop so I'd not expect this after a few days.
Thanks a lot!

Very tight in the league - I'm confident you'll stay up though
Reckon you've got enough to get past Cluj in the ECL?

Hi all,
Out of the two laptops below - which one do you think is the better option?
cheers!

Hey @kevhamster- you helped me out with some advice a few years back on a gaming PC, looking to move to a laptop.
What do you make of the below? Do you think it’d comfortably be playing FM?

Started this myself - starting things off in Swaziland with the Black Swallows!

I told you this does not happen when using the latest file.
@lionel messi Yes I know that, I replied. I also asked if you knew if it fixes itself at any point?

Is there a fix to it or not?

I think you must be using one of my earlier files where this was a issue, i dont think this happens with the latest file, maybe there are some players out there who could confirm this or not?
Is there a fix to it or not?

@lionel messi I’m having the same issue as the chap above - promoted to the prem (started in Tier 11 with Horbury Town) and haven’t been entered into the FA Cup! Into my second season in the prem now and same again - any ideas? Does this fix itself?

Great read so far, caught up with the whole thread over the past few days!
Really interesting concept for a save too!
Do you stick to the same tactic with every team or do you mix it up?

It will run FM very well. As a note, the 9400F is a locked CPU, so having a Z390 motherboard (the purpose of which is overclocking) is pointless. You may as well have a B360 and save a few £
Thanks Gangor - appreciate it! 3D match engine should run fine on that shouldn’t it?
Wasnt really my choice, PC is being built by AWD-IT and they said the motherboard that was in as standard (H310M I think) wouldn’t support the RAM I’d chosen, so they gave me a free upgrade!

Interested on what people think this would be able to handle FM-Wise - just bought a new PC..
Intel I5 9400F 4.1GHz Six Core;
Nvidia GTX 1650 4GB SUPER; PC
Memory Upgrade Dual DDR4 : 16GB (2x8GB) 3200Mhz DDR4
Crucial BX500 240GB SSD
Seagate 1TB Barracuda Drive
I think the motherboard is a Z3900 -

Few options in my mind at the moment - Gibraltar is one that does look exciting; I went there last year and managed to pick up a couple of shirts whilst wandering so that is one. The other two I'm floating about are either Hungary (as I quite enjoy playing in the country) or Latvia as I've never managed there! Not decided yet though
Also, congrats on staying up - never in doubt!!
