  1. Just had a strange occurrence that hasn't happened to me before.

I'm playing as Reading and my left back Clinton Mola received the ball and the game crashed. It froze and I had to restart my laptop.

I then went back on the game and after playing for an hour or so, I clicked on the same players profile and the game crashed again.

Not sure if this is a massive coincidence and my new laptop needs sending back, or if Clinton Mola is responsible :D

  2. Hi all,

I currently play on a PC with 16GB of RAM and a RTX 3050. This gaming laptop looks similar but only has half of the RAM. Would this still be fine running around 5 countries and 10/12 leagues on a large database? Approx 45k players?

    Thanks for any help!

    The specs are:

ASUS TUF Gaming FX507ZC4 15.6" Full HD 144Hz Gaming Laptop (Intel i5-12500H, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050, 8GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, Windows 11)

    Bah not agree

With My Serie B team Brescia i kicked out of Italy Cup three serie A teams Udinese Genoa and Roma all three after extra Times and especially Roma missed 100 chances

I find it too easy and i'm sure AI made me win, i agree with you it is very bad but for the opposit reason.....

Or, just maybe, you're both wrong.

The game doesn't differentiate between the user and AI teams.

    Do they?

Scottish Premiership wise you have 8/12 playing a back 3 (Aberdeen, Dundee, Hearts, Kilmarnock, Livingston, Motherwell, St Mirren, St Johnstone) all using a back 3

    Celtic, Rangers and Hibs dont.

Ross County just changed their manager but likely to play a back four now but played a back five previously.

Wouldnt be too surprised if thats repeated in a lot of other leagues.

    He said real teams ;)

Because if you dont go that way its pointless, as sitting deep amd trying try hit on the break just doesnt exist in this game. You can be in the 4th tier and still have opponents threading balls through your defence multiple times a game.

Theres no middle ground this year.

I can purposely hinder myself, and do so on long term saves rather than just muck around saves, but its really hard to try and actively fail at as much things as possible so its not a cakewalk. Having to actively not play a style of play because you know youll succeed is ridiculous.

I agree. I had 1 save where I won the Championship by 11 points with Preston, and now in my latest save I have just finished 2nd in my 1st season with Crystal Palace.

I either have to play 4-2-3-1 Gegenpress and over-achieve, or play any other way and can't compete.

God knows where SI got the idea that Gegenpress plug-and-play was a thing of the past.

@RHKC @wearesporting those players i’m talking about signed a month ago by the club in real life. July in-game they already consider their options… This has nothing to do with playtime or whatever

I started a new job last month too, and I'm already wondering if I made the right choice haha! Maybe raise it in the bug forum if you feel the need to

After 1 season I've only had 1 player consider his options and it was a 31 year old who was probably too good for my club anyway.

Sign offs can change. Anyone who has worked in licensing can tell you that. Especially if you're at the mercy of the other party, and they havent got their ducks in a row. Licensing is notoriously expensive, extremely slow, complicated, prone to change and potentially litigious, and that's at the best of times

This is probably why SI shouldn't have said the J League was fully licensed.

Ok. First I will say that I'm absolutely loving the game because the ME is fantastic. Minor issues for me are, maybe too many goals scored and quite a lot of goals coming from corners. Other than that it's the best ME ever. Also as a 2D player, this year I switched to 3D because it's just looks so good. Job done brilliantly as far as that.

But..all of the other features advertised like better interaction, real life finances, AI squad building, AI giving young players game time etc..not really happening. Absolutely no difference form FM23 or 22 or 21. Finances are a mess still. Like what changed? I dare someone to explain to me exactly what has changed regarding the finances from FM23 to FM24? Man Utd..click on  finances/debt..one day debt stands at around 400mil, the next time I check it's 120mil, the next time I check it's 220mil..It's like totally random screen. Not to mention that my mate spent around 4 billion euros in his save with Newcastle. Paying for Saka like 400 milion and whenever the club goes to red, new sponsorship deal..all good.

I'm in my 5th seaons with ManUtd, and I just bought Arda Guler from Madrid , the boy is a wonderkid when you start the game. Guess how many games has he played for Madrid in 4 seasons? Seven games he played. Seven. 7. I guess AI really gives a chance to it's youngsters.

Interaction is a huge colosal mess as it ever was.

So, yeah SI..someone could say it's a bit of false advertising. And now I see there are 150 players missing from J League? ..not a good look.

I echo everything you said. The game is great from a distance but these bugs and broken promises need fixing, quickly.

    ...Still enjoying the game though.

No I am whining because they did not deliver what was advertised. And guess what? The bugs are not fixed, because if they were, they would have been more than happy to release a changelog. Honestly I have been posting here for years about the same issues over and over again. All I got was just promises, “it’s being looked into” etc.

but at least we will get women’s football next here so they can get the badge of an “inclusive” company.
No matter that the game is broken in some of its core aspects.

    HURRAH

It's nothing to do with not fixing bugs. There's never a change log on release of the game. Never has been. The bugs will get fixed. Chill out, life is good :)

Even in a parallel universe this just doesn't seem realistic in any way. Finances aside, there's no way Ronaldo-the guy with an ego the size of Alpha Centauri-would ever be willing to manage any of these clubs in the future.

If someone told me 5 years ago that Vincent Kompany would have Burnley clear at the top of the Championship, I'd have thought that was unrealistic too haha!
