I dont know what went right. But turned off everything, did the whole thing again, and boom. There they are! All the tactics I could ever dream of.

Thanks for posting. I have read the desription elsewhere, so I know of this. It didnt work for me, so I added the data in the steamapps as mentioned. I read about that somewhere else, but that didnt work either. So now I have deleted the tactics folder in the steamapps. Same thing.

No tactics visible.

Do I need to tick off something in the game itself? In the preferences on the starting screen?

Hi fellow managers,

I am having a bit of a headache with my game. I am running out of ideas regarding tactics, and thought I would try some of the many tactics available online. I have read what I need to do, to get the tactics into the game. But whenever I try to load a tactic in-game, the tactics folder is empty.

I have put the tactics I would like to try in different folders, but it seems like the game doesnt recognize the files. I have tried a lot of different things, but I am sure I am just messing up one little stupid thing to get this to work, so please help me.

 

I am running FM 20 on a MacBook Pro. I have the game using the Steam client. I have downloaded tactics in the .fmf format. I have put the tactics in the following folder:

Macintosh HD\users\MYUSERNAME\Library\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\tactics

and in

Macintosh HD\users\USERNAME\Library\Application Support\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2020\tactics

Hopefully someone can guide me in the right direction.
