  1. Jep i know, and i did try to activate it between the date. The button was there also, tried multiple times, but was rejected everytime and Spurs were asking much more. Now its 1 aug. and the date expired so im moving on. It is what it is. But its weird why the buy back clause is not working correctly. Or if there is something missing.
  2. No idea. Tried many things but nothing yet helped. I mean, there is the button at transfers > Clauses and then i would expect when u use it, u can buy him back for the price which is noted. But afterwards they reject it and ask more money.
  3. Why is the buy back clause button not working? I want to buy back Reguillon from Spurs to Real Madrid. On transfers u have the buy back clause button, i used it in the exact data it is needed. But Spurs denied and asked way more and now i cant buy him. How to resolve this? Why is the buy back clause button not working as it should...!?
  4. I found this funny lool. The opponent gets a chance, misses, gets a rebound for open goal and he passes it back, loool like what the heck...? -_- 20201228_225519_1_1.mp4
  5. @FuSS Gave it a try and started really well. Making one self is kind of complicated, well for me though. If i might ask, how do you come up with to use those kind of PI's for example? And it seems that using a high press tactic works the best (as we also can see from those many knap tactics) right? I have to say this one is a nice tactic, saw some really sweet plays also. I did just one change, which is passing shorter, to have some combination play which i like to see in game. Id like to know, do u change something when playing against stronger teams, like in the CL league against the best teams, in away games. If yes, what do u change, where to think about? I mean, lowering mentality does not make it more solid right, or when u lower the lines (DoF, LoE) does it make this tactic less effective because of the high press? Thanks in advance.
  6. Awesome, first time to win against them. Glad and confused at the same time hehe, thanks. So what are the key points to keep in mind in this case? So i understand what happened here and why it went much better for the team. Would appreciate it if you could note some of them. So if i can ask now, why keep the mentality on balanced? And thinking vs smaller teams u need more risk, so higher mentality and vs stronger teams u need less risks, so lower mentality is not the right approache or it is not what it means right? And so i can keep my style of play but to make it more solid, look at duties for example. And u suggested to bring some of mine to support instead of attack. Does that mean, they come in the ball more to help possitional play and play out the pressure of the opponent?
  7. Good last point. In home games i did quite well, im AZ, so i think im strong enough against others in my league or at least same level. Ajax could be a bit better for sure. And about the mentality, so its wrong to think, oke my tactic is oke, and when playing away vs a strong team, if i go lower mentalty i'll be more solid right? And Ajax likes to play control football as well. Is it possible to keep the control play but just to be more solid overall? Do i need to think about maybe play some roles on def, like the cdm. and lower def lines, but increase mentality to positive for example? Or do i need to focus more on a counter based tactic and what would that be in my tactic changes?
  8. When playing home, i go with balanced or positive ye. Well i meant, many just go with the tactics from knap for example, and they can do that ofc. but i have seen many of those tactics, are full extreme pressing, much high lines etc., the click and play tactics. Its no big deal but its no fun after a while for me. But crazy enough when things dont work i can understand that people go into them for an easy route as i thought about it aswell, but i dont want that. But so my tactic, is it to much attacking>? Where do i need to look at, to make it more solid for espec. in those difficult games? Thanks in advance.
  9. Thanks. Tried the suggestions. Lost 3-0. Gonna try it once more. Have to say the first half was abit better, guess the higher tempo did some good somehow.
  10. Hi, After a season with decent play i wondered if i would be stronger, espec. away against the stronger teams. Im Az, and against Ajax away i lost 0-5. The second season started but i was wondering where am i now. So i just wanted to test out a match against Ajax, i lost again, i played over and over again, vs them to see where the solution lays in those kind of games, but i just couldnt win. Its crazy but i want to know what i need to do to win it? I tried this tactic (see pic), but also counter tactics, default ones. But id like to know what can i do? Sometimes i think ye i understand why people just go with those exploit tactics (extreme pressing etc) and just win game after game. But i dont want that. Any help would be welcome so i can test it out. I wont continue my game untill i have found some solution on this to start my 2nd season without save and restart ofcourse. - Do I look at Mentality or Roles? - Do I look at def lines? - Do i play more counter minded or more pressing? Thanks in advance.
  11. Some annoying detail. Sold my RB, some became unhappy oke. I buy 2 new RB's and they still unhappy. They think im going to buy Trent Arnold or something, im AZ. -_- I guess just gonna ignore that stuff, dunno what to do more otherwise.
  12. Quick questin about Counter and Hold shape. What are the differences between the 2? And the pro's and cons...? In simple language hehe, would appreciate it.
  13. Thanks for the tips guys, gonna be helpfull. Espec. taking note on the fact that opponents in away games being more attacking minded and with my tactic im giving to much space in my defensive shape. Cool, gonna check it out. Meanwhile i went back to 4123 which was more solid for, just need to check out some more away games. I think there lays the problem for me ye, i also went back to the 4123 (included with your suggestions) and was winning immediatly (feel that formation suits me better and the playstyle i like to play somehow), just need to see it out in away games. But im getting a better vision on this matter, espec. for the away games. As im doing well in those games with the statistics but end losing them too much. But now comes the hard part is tweaking it hehe. And hope to be more successfull. Would you bring the 4123 to 4141 as you suggested for the 4231 to do? And next to that, where do i need to focus on to be more solid in those away games. Changing mentality to balanced or go for regroup instead of counter press?
  14. Thanks. That was said in the other topic as well (about away games, the home team is being more attacking minded) so good point and i think i need to look for a solution in that area, which hopefully could help me. If i can say, so i should look into maybe put my DoF and LoE 1 click lower or put the FB's on su instead of att. for example? Ye thats also why its hard for me to spot the problem i think. I watch my games in extended highlights. But im not rly into watching it in full, to much time needed hehe. But the point about opposition being more attacking minded is a good one to think about, now gonna check out on how to solve that a be more solid in those away games. Hopefully. Oh and one more thing if i may. Had some games where i was the better team, but the box was to crowded and couldnt get outplayed chances to score easily. At that moment im asking myself what can I do, but there is a lot, untick WBiB or even shoot more often, or play wider or maybe change the roles of the striker and AMC position or use a IF on at, but what is the best thing to do in those moments? And could using in that case pass into space be a option?
  15. Im a bit lost in this. Why is there such a huge difference in home and away games. Winning home games and failing away games all the time (in many of them im also the better team). And that by just using the same tactic but after that tried also other things. Im really asking myself, where to focus on in away games. What is it to change or not change to be more solid in those games, anyone? Is it only the mentality? Is it lowering your DoF and LoE? Is it the backs who are to attacking? If yes, why in home games its no issue mostly. Any help would be welcome. (see pic for tactic)
  16. Thanks. What does the WB do in comparison to the FB by the way? Need some help on the next thing. Why is the difference in home and away games so huge for me? I keep failing in away games while doing fine in home games, its weird? Where do i need to focus on or what should i change in first place to be more solid in away games...? Appreciate the help.
  17. @Justified @Experienced Defender Hi, thanks for the tips on my other tactic. Im now into an AZ save also, and playing in 4231 which is new for me. Id like to ask how u would set this up. I already have made it abit the same as the 4123 formation but was wondering espec. how to connect (and in which roles) the ACM position with the Striker and both wing players. And are my midfielders well placed>?
  18. Hi, there are alot. The question is what do u like, dark ones, transparent with background stadiums, etc. go on fmscout for example, look for skins, and u can easy try them out. Its easy and if u dont like one, u can just go back to default again.
  19. I was asking it myself, didnt notice it either. And also had a issue with Reguillon from Spurs. Real Madrid has a clause to back him back, when i use it, Spurs declines it and it will be rejected.
  20. There is a lot. What you could do is watch some youtube vids, there is a lot about Fm21 for beginners with nice tips etc
  21. The game and espec. the ME has been really enjoyable again. Where i couldnt enjoy the matches in FM20 now its totally the opposite. Seeing really nice plays and im sure being good with tactics you can get really great play more often. Changing things in game is being noticed right away. I struggled a bit with the tactics, but with some help here im on the right track gladly, for now. Tip: What I would like to see instead of just the possibility to choose some default tactics is a sort of connection meter in the tactics, where, when you set up ur own tactic, it will say if its balanced withnin the choises of Roles, TI's, Formation and Mentality, and what kind of style of play u have set up, so it could give u a sort of guide towards balancing ur tactic. When it works it will be more satisfyin i think instead of struggling with tactics and just choosing a default tactic at the end and it could make it easier to understand and interpretate all the tactics (roles, TI's etc.), the connection of it all, much better in the game.
  22. @Experienced Defender @Justified Thanks for the input and tips. I have taken some into my tactic which made it much better now, like the split block, being lesser agressive, the FB's instead of WB's etc. Ive noticed also the hold shape TI makes the 4123 formation stronger in attack, so thats good. I have still a question, if I may, thats what to change when against other bigger teams, espec. away games. I mean is changing mentality to balanced enough? Or should I think about changing, the DoF line, or untick counterpress to prevent being outplayed by those stronger teams? So where do you need to look for in those kind of situations...? Thanks in advance. And the advice about bigger teams vs smaller ones is usefull for me for sure, thanks. So me a big team vs smaller teams, means they will defend more, perhaps with a low block so you need to be attacking minded in your tactic. And when its the other way around you can be more effective with lower lines, using Counter TI etc. for example, ...right?
  23. Awesome tips, thanks. Id like to put an example and could u tell me if that is the right way to invert it into my tactic. Lets say the middle is stacked by the opponent. Myself using 4123, So if i use a Winger att on the right. I have a dlp left mid, on the left an IW su. I use focus down the left. My team start to play and focus more to the left side, will this create overloads on the right at the Winger and could they and in this case the Dlp open up the space on the right where the Winger plays...?
  24. Thanks for the input. Noticed also FB's are much better to overlap wide then the WB's somehow (after trying ur tips). And after some bad results, i went to attacking mentality and instead of counter i chose *Hold Shape* and that looked way better in my play. I think exactly what i was looking for. Results went way better also after that. But the connection with all, TI, roles, mentality etc. stays tricky. About the WB's, when would u use them instead of FB's?
