[Boatload of bugs still there.]

I recently retried FM20 with Stadia on my Macbook Pro again after a few months pause. I was real happy to see that I was able to modify and save views which probably was the biggest annnoyance previously. Being able to save tactics is also a big one.

What still annoys me though is that Stadia resets after a set amount of minutes which totally ruined my night yesterday. I was in the transferwindow with Manchester United, totally overhauled my squad, spent 400 milion pounds, in total probably advanced the game 10 days but spent 4 hours or so doing it and during those 4 hours I went back and forth to the kitchen, played with the dog and alt-tabbed liberally between transfers. Then it knocked heavily on my door and it was the neighbour with an "emergency". Coming back to the game (ofcourse I didn't hit save before I rushed to the door) Stadia had reset and EVERYTHING I had done was gone. Since I complained about this a few months ago I guess I kind of assumed it was fixed. My bad.

Then there's the problem with typing in search bar and when naming things. You have to go back and forth since it doesn't register the letters on the first try, but backspace and other keys work.

When moving a player from a squad to another the view changes to standard.

Shortcuts reset every time you start the game.

The mouse-cursor is horribly laggy and the first hour or so I deem it unplayable but then you kind of get used to the horrible controlling of the cursor and you power through it.

 

I will probably edit in more "bugs" cause this was all just from the top of my head. And now after browsing the forums I dont really feel the joy in continuing since so many have a save-game problem after a few seasons.

Sorry for ranting but it just feels horrible at the moment.

It does work resuming the game when moving between computers and it makes sense for it to have a closing down limit, but for a game such as FM it can be especially dangerous if not aware of the "feature". I guess I have exceeded the time limit on these occasions but I do feel that it has been too short atleast once.

Other Stadia games too. (Only tried Destiny though).

 

I have contacted Stadia support too but they havent been able to help sofar.

 

Might I ask you another thing maybe too since I haven't gotten an answer yet from my slightly angry tweet. =)
This problem happened yet again now on another save. Aren't you supposed to go from PC to laptop etc seamlessly? Just now I closed my laptop and moved to my PC to open up my Leicester save and was greeted with the game starting up instead of jumping into my scouting. Resulting in a decent amount of work gone again.

"New save, set up training for my three squads, hired staff, offered youngsters new contracts and sorted through responsibilities. Scouted and shortlisted +100 players (+1h job). Came back after a bite to eat and walked the dog = All gone. Stadia resets?"

It's the MacBook Pro from mid 2014. Updated everything I could earlier too.

Pasted some specs below.

 

It's noticeably something to do with the mouse/trackpad interaction with Stadia, when trying it on my PC it is much better but still the cursor is slightly worse in handling with Stadia than in other applications.

I hope someone can help me with this since I haven't been able to find anything when searching.

When playing FM20 on Stadia on my Macbook the mouse cursor is horribly laggy (using the trackpad) which makes it barely playable and extremely annoying bordering on unplayable.

When trying it on Stadia on my PC with a mouse it is much better. Any advice for this problem?

 

I bought Stadia and FM20 to be able to play on my somewhat old Macbook since FM19/20 makes the Mac work really hard resulting in the fan making a lot of noise and the computer getting hot. Playing videos or streaming in 1080p is no problem but using Stadia once again makes the Mac work hard resulting in noise and heat once again. I thought it would basically only be like watching a stream... All of this has really bummed me out since I thought the Stadia experience would be practically perfect with crisp picture and smooth gameplay (The picture quality is not good at all).
