Just been thinking, my laptop never turned off before I started playing fm 2020, when i play I usually end up with 1 and a half star rating at the start when I use the leagues I’m using saying it would be rather demanding on my laptop.

Laptop still turns off with the gpu at preferred settings, it says for the fm file in brackets (staging) at the end, if that’s normal I don’t know reply back

Laptop went off after i changed to preferred maximum performance too, also there’s a bug saying the fans are disappointed with performances on the pitch but I’ve only lost the one match

played for a good few hours before it decided to go off, I’m currently at the start of my 3rd season at the transfer window and it goes off at the same point, it has to be a bug, I’m going to try lowering my graphics settings even though I’ve got it a at the laptops recommended and I have like I said been playing at the recommended settings for a few seasons, not sure why it turns off but it always seems to be in the transfer window.

ok I’ve had my laptop turn off twice since I’ve had a new battery installed so it’s definatly not that, I’ve checked the integrity of the game files in steam and they were ok, I’m not sure what to do

Just got the battery today, laptop hasn’t turned off yet but I’m getting lag from the 3D match engine when my charger cable is unplugged, but when I plug it in the match is ok and runs fine which is weird. Reply back thanks

Hi again, still my laptop is shutting down, I’ve restarted a new save after the latest version but I’m still getting the same issue of it shutting down while the calendar is loading day to day, it will always shut down at the same place each time for some reason, sometimes I’m able to progress but it’s really frustrating. recently I was in a match watching the 3D version and the players would move around standing still, maybe a graphics issue or maybe a bug in game, I have another game that I play that works fine no problems, no shut downs or anything like that. I still need a new battery but should have one soon so I guess I could wait to see if that’s the issue. I’ve checked the integrity of the game files and there was no issue there so I don’t know what to do. Reply back thanks.

After a few hours playtime on fm 2020 my laptop would shut itself down, probably because I need a new battery and that I have to keep the charger plugged in or else it would drain a 100% battery charge within 15- 20 minutes or maybe less than that, not sure if that’s normal or not I don’t know.Already ordered a new battery so I guess I’ll find out.The laptop after restarting it would also shut itself down at a certain point when playing fm 2020, I turned the laptop on three times to restart the game and each time I just couldn’t continue my game after I loaded up the save, on all 3 occasions It shut down at the second load screen while it loaded the day to day progression, going through the transfers if that has anything to do with it, maybe a lot more to process I don’t know. I have an alienware 17 r1 upgraded laptop with a 1060 Nvidia graphics card and 3D screen to support it, I’ve really upgraded it quite a bit.
