Season 2023/24
Racing Club Harelbeke
Season Summary
Season started well with some wins, but then due to injures and suspensions fell close to relegation zone. About half way through the season things started to pick up until I finished 5th in the league, and had a chance at promotion all the way till last game.

Stopped my Turkey run after I upgraded my pc and lost my save. Took a break for a bit but decided to have another go. Decided on Belgium, not sure if still bugged like the OP but going to try and be ultra finance focused just in case ie minimal extras on wages and being stricter on what youth I take.

Season Summary
This season went amazing, finally figured out the slight role switch that worked well against 2 DMs and we that I ended up top most of the season. Cup I was knocked straight out of but had played mainly my 2nd team as wanted to rest a lot of 1st team ready for big upcoming game

Season Summary
This season was one of ups and downs, we were mid-table most of season but the gap from playoffs to relegation was rarely over 10 points so we were never safe, and always close to promotion. For a season in transition from better players leaving and younger players coming through it was ok. Ended the season with a good shot at last playoff spot but then went on a run where I couldn't get a shot on target. Cup again went well.
League Table - 11th in the league
SpoilerFixtures - We ended up drawing a team in the top league, actually beat them only to draw another team in top league in the sixth round. Was close to getting to penalties but they scored in last few minutes of extra time to knock us out

Squad - Most players got game time, with the younger players already at the club when the challenge started becoming a bigger part and a few youth prospects from 23/24 season getting some game time

Season Summary
Was in the playoff places all season, never really challenged for the championship even when 2nd as leaders had a big gap at that point, and when drop to last playoff place I had a 3 or 4 point gap. Had a good cup run, ended the season by losing in first playoff game.

I always find the transition from old players to the youth the hardest part, probably 90% of my saves end there (ie season 3ish), the ones that don't just don't make it there like :-) But I enjoy the challenge even if not great at it

Well my second season went awful, the 4 retirements plus me not convincing my striker to stay left me without a striker and only 1 central defender. Tried using a mix of youth and the grey players but after losing the first 20 league games so we had 0 points I was fired. Going to holiday another save for Turkey and try again.

Season Summary
Season went really really well, start was a bit rough but once got into the swing of things were always in the playoffs. We actually finished 6 days before the others team for some reason and were top, but another team had exact same points. They ended up losing 2-1 and we got promoted as champions.

Karşıyaka Season 23/24 Update
I started the season fairly badly, a lot of players got upset with me, and cause a lot of morale problems, what made it worse is several of my best players would complain even if the I criticised them for having a sub 5 training rating. I stuck to my guns though and carried on using my typical pattern of praise and criticise for training & matches. Then around December we hit a really good stretch of form that carried us into play off positions and most of the players drop concerns and I was able to maintain the morale and we ended up becoming champions. With us being promoted I can now have more than just a manager for my youth team, the board has refused and not even willing to talk about me getting any licenses so far but hoping next time I can ask they will accept now we in higher league.

Usually use it to help me understand what my squad is good at, sometimes also if a player is great or bad at something I use it to give a personalised role/instructions ie Shaw in my save has awful mobility so has roles/instructions for when he needs to cover players, usually dm or dc, sometimes rb. I played possession style as my squad had good passing, control with below average shooting and heading so want good chances to compensate. Youth wise, I'm still figuring out how it can help me, but trying to see if using it to guide individual and role training at under 18s level is good or not this game.

Mine just average of attributes combinations with some also averaging in combinations, coloured from red - yellow - blue for 1-20, then the top corner attribute score determines which get bold+italics and I set it to level I'm playing i.e. Vanarama North is 10, but as aiming for promotion set it to 10.5, once in Vanarama i'll set to 11.
Giving an example Endeavour is Agg, Bra, Det, and Wor, Physical Presence is Bal, Str, and Endeavour, Dribbling Ability is Dri, Tec, Cmp, Awareness (On Ball), Decisions (On Ball), Focus, Endeavour, Mobility, and Physical Presence.

Yeah, the bug/problem from OP is still happening, if you look I'm only at 8K out of 20K for wage budget and still losing that much. Hoping i can get promoted and that might sort it out, my plan for pre-season is just find the games to get the most money :-)
